Took me 35 (ish) hours to make my first full kit, mate, it was done within a weekThe one above is £650 or best offer, plus eBay is offering 10% off at the moment too, the SDS kit is also on eBay and is at £460 with no bids so far. I imagine either of these could come at around £500 and with the one above coming with the amount of extras it comes with it's going to be hard to beat. Another thing is I don't have the time or the patience to build my own and these are both ready made.
It's entirely up to you what you do with your own money, but i'd definitely urge you to listen to those who have 'been there, done that'.
These kits are ready-made. That doesn't mean that they will fit your body shape.

What's your budget, mate? You'll get a kit, everything you need, clearable to 501st centurion level for maybe a little more than the SDS kit (i've just retired my SDS kit, in favour of a new self-build).<br>
Feel free to PM me and I'll give you more info

Yeh as Joseph says, it's just 1/4" or 6mm white sewing elastic

That's better, nice close-ups!
I'm not sure how picky your garrison is, but they might ask you to tidy the rough edges around the eye sockets, paint the ear screws white, reduce the frown edges a little (I think you've painted a little 'over the lines') and possibly neaten the black outlines.
But then, the screen used examples are rough at the best of times

Welcome along, Mark.
I wish you all the best with your weight-loss. Having to fit into a TK outfit is a great motivator for me, in keeping the weight off!
With regard to your height, some vendors can supply extended shin pieces. I'm 6ft and found they close-up the gaps in the armour perfectly.
Not sure if RS do these shins but RWA and TM both do (also based in UK)

Nice one, Conner

Probably around 4 or 5 hours actual time 'doing stuff'. Had to wait overnight to let paint dry.

Ok, so it was the Edinburgh Capital Sci-Fi Con at the weekend... An entirely not-for-profit convention, with all proceeds going to a local charity for childrens' care hospices - CHAS.
My little pal, Emma, AKA Short Vader, AKA Short Trooper (A battle buddy toy myself and her mum converted) had a great time. The 501st Imperial Scottish Squad assisted, and escorted her through the halls, to get her helmet signed by Rogue One Vader, Spencer Wilding. What a nice guy he is!
Obviously, I'm just checking to make sure he's doing it properly...
Slaying her poor mother...
And in her FO trooper guise...
And a couple of random shots...

Yeh, CFO shins are clearly built for a skinny trooper! I had to shim the overlap on mine, too.It was a good build that. I got CFO armour. It's good but had to shim the calves. Lenses kept popping out but solved this last week. Just got the holster to attach. Bought a dlt 19 last year but not that accurate. Might just out for a CFO E11.

Aah, OK, yeh I saw him, tooCheers. Was there Sunday. Attendance was strong. Wasn't me talking to your spotters. I was talking to the one in the kilt thinking he was ISS. Lol. He was a random. Will get a post up and catch up with one of your guys locally. Much appreciated. Was looking out for your shock trooper but never saw it. Gutted.

Shock trooper is gone down south, mate, sold him to upgrade my existing TK , from RWA, which should hopefully be cleared soon.
What armour make did you get?
