These thighs have been the bane of my existence this past week! I just can't get the back to meet properly without considerable force...

 

I'm doing inner strips and keeping the cover one for later though I'm thinking this might part of the reason why it's causing me so much trouble.

 

You seem to have managed it pretty well! Keep up the good work!

For difficult connection, i glue half of it first, then i glue the other half. Doing inner strip supposed to be helpfull but no extra strip provided by Anovos.

Sniper plate:

Encounter problem with sniper plate connection. I am removing the left shin and will reduce the front width before i try to reassemble the sniper plate.

Prepare 2" x 10cm elastic strap.

Codpiece to butt plate strap:

Install 2 male snap.

Install strap to cod piece.

 

Abs to Kidney strap (right):

I originally use nylon strap for this side but found it difficult to put on the armor with it. I change it to elastic strap.

Went to my first 501st trooping last Sunday. I came as minder for fellow Malaysia Outpost member. Learn on handling the crowd and assisting others to suit up. Had a blast.

 

Other good news are:

1. My Imperial Boots in transit.

2. My Anovos undersuit and gloves also in transit.

Thermal Detonator

 

The grey pipe supplied by Anovos is exactly 190mm. I remove 2mm from each end of the pipe. After fit up with end caps, thermal detonator overall length is 186mm.

For the screw for metal clips, i cannot find #6 pan head slotted screw. The closest i can find is with a philips head. The screw head will be painted black later.

Ahmad, just wanted to reassure you that you're on the right track. You may end up wanting to add additional straps towards the end of the butt plate to keep it from sticking out.

Bought an inflatable mannequin for me to have third person view of the armor myself.

 

Wear the WIP armor to it.

 

Place order for pair of boot size(42eu/9us/8uk) from imperialboots.com . I waiting for the boots to arrive before I glue the shin plates.
