I got mine in similar shape. I had to wash it, let it air out for a couple days and then seal it in a box with baking soda for awhile. Eventually I just ended up sending it and repainting the whole kit to get rid of the discoloring. It's not going to be fast or easy, but it can be done to get the smell away. To be honest my wife did most of the heavy lifting on fabrication, i just did guess work based on the existing thread on here and cobbled together an amalgamation. I've done both but I settled on using black plasti dip on my canvas ones. It gives it kind of a rubbery coating and it doesn't rub off. I like because it flexes with the fabric so it doesnt flake off. It also colors the thread around the edges whereas the dye did not stick to the thread in my first few attempts.

Greetings fellow troopers. I recently finished my Heavy Weapons Trooper Armor and MiniMag PTL Missile Launcher. As soon as i hear back form my local GML i will be submitting official application photos later tonight. But first i thought i'd share my photos on here as you all been such an invaluable resource. The lighting in these shots are poor so the backpack details and scuffing don't come across well. The backpack straps have also been straightened since the rear shot was taken. Either weight constructive feedback is appreciated.

I'm getting ready to start the conversion let me know if you guys have any helpful pointers. I have a black pauldron on the way as the crl says I can have black, white, or orange. How I should go about doing the proper amount of scuffing and battle damage would be appreciated? I'm plan on staring to look for pack parts about town tommorow.

I recently came into a complete any stunt 'cap w' armor set. I'm not entirely sure what all that entails. Is this armor modifiable into a stormtrooper commander? If so what specifically do I need to change and or where can I go to get the replacement parts.

Im looking to find a neck seal for anh stunt armor. Ive been in contact with darmon, but if i can get a more rubbery look i'd prefer it. I found one at Amazon at the following link.
