  1. In going over some of my other threads on various forums...I just realized this is the same gloss coat I used for my Ironman build....we should be good...also, keep in mind this is foam This auto cc will also allow us to buff and wax if needed[emoji1303]....final pics to come shortly Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Hey guys...there's been some complaints on the "scuffing" etc on the paint work...I'm going to test this out on one of the belt boxes or the clip greeble and see what we get...hopefully equal gloss with some protection. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Also did a bit of detail work for the belt. I used 1" think by 3" wide foam from Joanne's fabrics. The other I may want to keep free for keys and wallet...maybe my phone for a bunch of selfies as well[emoji12][emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Got a bit more completed today....here's a quick look at the helmet interior....ended up going with dark primer, satin black, the xenith pads (suggested by SB) and uks fan kit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. It's the little things [emoji5]......weathers great today...layed down some gloss on the clip greebles as well as the knees and belt piece. Here is where I'm at. Should be rigging this up in the next week or so...really just waiting on a 501st buddy of mine to help me measure and mark placement. Really pleased with the gloss on the Rustoleum Universal[emoji1303] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Sorry man....I've used their clear coat but not the gloss white... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  8. Ok great....ill look into it...thanks JAFO Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Hmmmm...I had figured the helmet. The issue I'm having is the battery pack is a bit too heavy inside the lid....when it's placed in the back, the helmet pulls backwards for example. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Can someone shoot me a link with a usb attachment that works with this fan system? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. This just in...thanks Ukswrath![emoji1306][emoji1303] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Finished up strong man! Great work[emoji1303][emoji1306] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Here's a shot of the two pieces for color comparison...as SB claims, about 99%...I would even go as far to boast 99.8% ; ). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Alright....just finishing up the thighs then ready to rig this up. That being said I've had a slight change of plans once again ; )...the gentleman that was supposed to get this going with auto paint is just not quick enough for me, so to speak. That being said I'm going with steamboats Rustoleum universal and I must say.....not only does it spray well, it's glossy as S__T! What I've done is 1 light coat ...30 minute wait and then I just did 1 medium coat and this seems do be doing the trick....if I compare to the helmet and it's good then......boom! .....my goal is as few coats as possible.. 15. That's not an elbow gasket[emoji12]..... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  17. These little beauties arrived today...did a quick fitting and it all seems pretty good so I'll have to play with it a bit...also, received one of his new patches so I can represent the team in an adequate fashion ; )....thanks Jim Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Lmao!!! Great minds baby[emoji1303][emoji41]....did a bit of wet sanding too
  19. In chatting with Steamboat he reminded me to trim the calfs...so....got the medial side of the calfs trimmed as well. Here is a reference from my 1/6 scale HT for you guys as well... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Just another light sand and primer to go on this bad boy! Thighs and shins left [emoji1303] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Starting to mess around with placement....trimmed the thighs about 1-2" and added in the recessed section around the knee area...much more mobility as I could prob bang out a full squat if I wanted [emoji12][emoji1377] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Alright...got a ton completed today...trimmed back of ab section and put down light primer. Next, I did some trimming on the thighs followed by resin on the inside as well as the shins[emoji1303]....I also received my greebles and holster from Justin and these are beautiful!...super clean lines and a tad more rigid which I like. These are a great touch! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. No worries buddy! I get excited too lol! Let's get yours going...we've got a great group working on Jims armor right now![emoji1303]
