  1. I got it at a local surplus store in Orlando, I have a spare if you are interested.
  2. I bought a shelter half this weekend and rolled it up, here is what I ended up with. It is a little fat because I have a doubled up piece of batting in the center but I can take more pictures without the insert. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BzN6V0cECEpXdUxjTE5yZVNKeEk/view?usp=sharing It measures out to 46 inches the way I have it rolled, the USMC manual states that it should be the length of one tent post. The tent post happens to be 43.5 inches. What do you all think?
  3. Looking at the pictures you linked, most of the blanket rolls/shelter halves are in the long configuration for use with the transport pack. When they were used with the field marching pack they were configured as the short blanket roll making it look more like the CE prop. The third picture in the last post features the packs configured this way. Here is some documentation on the packs configurations: http://military-historians.org/publications/journal/samples/BradfordPack.pdf Edit: Also has anyone had any luck finding a suitable fishing rod in the US? I checked the local stores and didn't find anything that I considered close enough to the two found parts available overseas
  4. Just went and watched R1 again and the stormtrooper to the far left of the frame caught my attention. I can't tell if he is wearing a pack or not?
  5. I ran across this after some research and I think it's pretty darn close. http://www.usmilitariaforum.com/uploads//monthly_02_2010/post-8911-1266629429.jpg
  6. The weather shroud reminds me of a USMC shelter half. They even came issued with khaki webbing and similar glides for the webbing.
  7. Wow, that's a lot of really good information
  8. I agree, those are some sharp looking sculpts! Keep up the fantastic work.
  9. I can barely contain my excitement for specific R1TK armor
