  1. Magnets purchased and in use. I have my thigh armor being cured right now. This process has become a lot more easing on me now. The e6000 wasn't as bad as I had thought. Thankfully things are looking up.
  2. I have 22 clamps and I'm using roughly 5-6 on each piece. I'm doing inner and outer strips for more stability and cleanliness.
  3. Shoulder bell straps curing today. I need magnets to complete the process. Anybody know a way to either use other methods instead of magnets or where I can pick up some?
  4. E6000 it is! I was getting irritated with the loctite. I have my thigh curing right now.

  8. what do you mean that they drop off? As in get longer or shorter?
  9. I'm not sure if this has been answered or resolved but, has anyone had trouble with E-6000 in the summer months? More so anyone in the western states. I'm in Arizona and the temps are well above 90Ā°F. Should I wait to glue my arbor until it cools down or chance it with CA Glue? I don't want to wait to glue if i don't have to but, I don't want to mess up my armor. What's my best solution?
  10. Inner cover strips were cut today. I shall install them next week when I get back home from a weekend full of menudo and quesadillas!
  11. I got mine on the 13th and ordered them the 4th. Not bad shoes at all. They're very comfortable too.
  12. Canvas belt is 80% complete! Plastic is on canvas and holster is on canvas. Just need to add the buttons and done.
  13. no ears nor stripes just yet but I think the visor looks good where it's at. I'm gonna try this placement method in my bucket.
  14. I GOT MY BOOTS! And it only took 10 days! What a lucky day today has been! WOOHOO!!!
  15. My nickname is derived from a nickname given to me in high school from my younger brother. Penguin is the origin and that story goes like this... I was born with cerebral palsy and it mainly affected my legs and my walking. I have a slight waddle to my walk and it went unnoticed for 17 years until my brother and his friend started calling me penguin. It eventually stuck and it's been with me ever since. I added the trooper once I knew being a stormtrooper was my true calling in life.
  16. Alright, so my current issue is my shins/thighs. I'm having to trim them down to 20mm front and back for the shins. Should I do the same for the thighs?
  17. I mic tips installed! All I did was push one in and made a nice hole punch to get the other one in. Gonna paint some more this weekend.
  18. Okay. I'll look in my box o' bits and see what I have. For split rivets it's the same? A 5/16th split rivet in the side of the kidney?
