  1. Cool. What size drill bit should I use for making the hole for the mic tips?
  2. With belt fitting, can I add a Velcro patch to help compensate for me being slightly thinner?
  3. Hey panda, I can't PM you but could you scope out my build thread and see if I may need a trim on my thighs. Maybe about an inch or so. And should I see about trimming my thighs as you have?
  4. This app is awesome! Just using my phone at it sounds really good! Got it dialed in quite well.
  5. So thighs at 20 and shins at 25mm. I'll make the adjustment today. What size drill bit should I use for my mic tips? I have them but no holes drilled out.
  6. Great read on this nice Saturday morning. This is why I wanna do this! Very uplifting story!
  7. As for the backs of the calves, I might make slots for when I bend my leg.
  8. Everything is trimmed down to the "ballpark" of measurements. 16mm biceps/forearms(F/R) thighs and shins are at 20mm(F)/25mmĀ® do you think I should go lower on the back of the shins? The thighs are almost perfect but could use a very slight trim to fit better. As well as trimming the shins/thighs some to accommodate my legs. I have the right screws but my ears need repair or replacement. They aren't as easy as I'd hoped for. I'm gonna try again on the same pair and get them as flush as I can with the helmet. I just received my mic tips today so I'll get to that when I get home on Monday.
  9. Also, could I do something like this? my legs are small and there's a lot of room between my leg and the armor. I'll add a cover strip over it.
  10. That's what I'm going with. I just need to get my snaps together in the plates. Could you see my chest and tell me if it's too wide? Would I need to add elastic to the sides to bring them in? I know lucnak said that it was a bit wide on the edges.
  11. Thank you. Do you think I'll have enough to create a return edge?
  12. I accidentally removed it. I'm unsure of how to get a heat bend without a heat gun.
  13. I don't know any TK's with his armor. TK1636 has built a few of his kits from people who have bought them.
  14. his name is Tristan Moriuchi. He's a local builder here in Arizona. The chest plate is pretty large. I'm not a large guy.
  15. right side left side @Lucnak, does that look better? Well, how they should.
  16. That last post was incorrect. 20mm in front and 25mm in back.
  17. I have my front thighs at 25 and the backs at 20mm. I'll be putting foam in there to help keep it stable. The sides aren't bent the chest and back are just hanging by tape. My ab is pretty tight around should I loosen that up?
  18. I feel I may need to trim the tops of the thighs down slightly. Everything fits nicely. My shins were loose, really loose. They turned around on me. Any fix to that or should I apply padding inside?
  19. I bought the 1110 gloss blue. Is that too blue for the buttons? Or even the stripes? If not, I'll keep it. If so, I'll see about getting it from TB.
  20. Oh okay! That's kinda what I figured. I got my painters tape finally so I'm gonna dry fit everything. Pics to come later today.
  21. Think I can close that gap by trimming the chest down a little more?
  22. I'm currently test fitting everything. This is the chest with back and shoulder bridge.
