Should the hovi tips be a matte or gloss black? I don’t have my old helmet on hand anymore to reference.

Hi all! I’ve been resisting making a build thread… but I’m in trouble with my ears. I’m aiming to go centurian with this new build, and I want to get the angle of the ears right. Take a look at these two photos. The ear wants to sit closer to the trap, based on the helmet’s trim line. Is that position alright? If I want to move it further back I believe I’ll need to cut material from the dome’s overlap as you can see in the second photo. My old TK eventually had a lot of stretch in the shoulder elastic, causing the shoulder bells to sag out from the body. Didn't love it! Does anyone have any recommendations or specific links for a really heavy duty elastic that will hold its form and strength for those front to back shoulder connections? Or ideas of how to retain the strength over time as much as possible?

Hi all, So if I remember right the ESB helmets were repainted ANH stunt helmets, correct? Was the entire armor kit painted as well?

They’ve offered the PVC for a very long time, I ordered from them back in summer 2015 and they offered it back then too.

Hi all, I’ve got some 10 year old RS armor that truthfully is still great. I don’t see a reason to replace it except for yellowing. I’ve done the other methods already - hydrogen peroxide formulas and all. The sad truth is that these are temporary fixes and often the armor return to yellow faster and faster each time. I think the only permanent solution is painting the entire armor gloss white and redoing all the details. So…is there anyone that’s done this? And if so was here a particular paint or process that has looked pretty great?

My first suit was an RS commission. But the study I was able to do with it helped me to feel confident to build 3 clones and a scout myself. And now I’m working on an FOTK. A commission isn’t cheating if it helps you to build confidence to try things on your own in the future

What specific screws are needed for the holster, if I wanted to source them myself?

Are these patterns for both sizes of the FOTK pouches?

Hey all, My brow trim on my stunt helmet is too low and I want to raise it, so I figure it would be easiest to raise it by trimming the brow. My question is - what tools what I use to do this? A dremel, maybe with a file attachment? Or something else?
