  1.

There is a huge difference between the TE2 and your older ATA - the ATA while thicker yet more supple didn't have the detail the TE2 had, even to an untrained eye. The new ab plate you pulled - even with no changes to the mold - looks identical to the TE2.

So even just from updating your vac machine, the level of detail want up a significant amount.

Actually the ab plate did get a sharpness and detail overhaul, just like the back plate. The rest of the kit is sharper using most of the original molds from before.

  2. That's interesting considering the TSA has nothing to do with packages coming into the US.

An alternative to not shipping to the US could be to find someone in Canada to forward the packages for you. Shipping is very reasonable between the US and Canada.

  3. OK I called USPS international about this, and they refereed me to US Customs. Talked to a very nice lady there and she said there are no new limits or embargoes for packages coming into the US, and that it this is a rumor that they are aware of that is circulating in some countries postal systems.

The limits I posted above are for the postal system, carrier services can go to 75lbs I believe.

  4. Must me a miscommunication, I just checked with the USPS and this 500g restriction doesn't exist.

There is a restriction that everything over 4lbs (1.8Kg) and/or one cubic foot has to go international priority which would be about $41 thanks to rate increases, it was $33 before Jan 1st.

  5. Awesome! Love the fixing you've done to some of the parts there T. Looks great! :duim: Will be nice to see these up and walking around. :salute:

Well I have to thank Kevin at OSCS for giving me the nudge and some guidance to start overhauling and sharpening molds. It's a start, but I still have much more to do.

    Looking sweet, and sharp bro.

I can´t wait to see a fully assembled one, walking around as well ;)

The ab looks great (maybe you could make the string over the box longer, and add the cleft in the tk/TD 4/3 dot area, it should be easy and quick and give a lot too)

I've got the cleft penciled in, but just haven't carved it out yet. Yes it the rectangle needs to be made taller to be accurate and accommodate the button strip while letting the cleft underneath still be seen. Just like the strip on top of the middle button box needs to be extended and fade into the ab plate. All in due time.

  6. I love your TD mould :)

And the rest of it lol, but that mould looks cool just on its own :)

why not put a horseshoe shape on the bottom of your ab plate vertical rectangle?

I have the strip on the vertical rectangle penciled in, I just haven't carved it out yet. It'll be done though.

This is awesome news bro! Will this be offered in black ABS as well?

Yes it'll be offered in black ABS, just not immediately unless you want nasty haircell ABS which I can get all the time. I'll take care of my TX bothers and sisters as well.

Nice . So will this still be ''Affordable'' trooper Armor ...? :D

Of course it's the lest expensive ABS armor offered ever. It's ATA ;) .

  7. Well this has been a 10 month project getting a new vac table built, and working through color samples to find the correct custom cream/off white color ABS, which is 80 gauge. If you need more details about the kit email me at ataworks@yahoo.com, please no PMs I get enough with FISD and Legion stuff.

Sorry for the low quality pics. I'll take better ones this weekend and pictures of all the parts. Somehow forming the first suit I forget the knee plate.
