Here is a sneak peak at the charity auction bucket:
If anyone is wondering about the signatures:
Jennifer Nettles (lead singer) & Kristian Bush (lead guitar) are under the wings on the winged-heart.
Brandon Bush (keyboards) is by left earpiece.
Scott Patton (guitar) is at bottom of dome.
Annie Clements (bass) is by right earpiece.
Thad Beaty (guitar) is upper right of dome.
Travis McNabb (drums) is upper left.

Very cool, nice job troopers.

Is it the battle spec or the high end stunt?

ScottM sells tube stripes for $3 shipped. I don't think the decal files have ever been posted anywhere.

Click on your user name near the top right of the screen, go to "my settings", and "display name" is the third tab on the menu.

Remember there are 2339 TKs in the Legion and only 190 EIB. So at the moment we have reached out to 8% of the Legion's TKs. I know there are people all over the Legion (I see it in my own garrison too) who are one mod away from EIB but just don't want to take the plunge. That's OK in my book because of indirect exposure to the EIB program from garrison mates they are a cut above the Legion base requirements.
Another bonus is that because of the EIB program since it's launch five years ago things like black tube stripes, the over sized and/or miscolored ab buttons, silver detonator decals, and plastic belts are no longer Legion acceptable for new members. Just like all costumes in the Legion the standards are ever evolving. In another five years I could see almost all the EIB requirements being Legion minimum which would make for a bunch of great looking TKs.

I think it warrants a discussion for Centurion. I'd start a new thread here about it and see what peoples thoughts are.

No one knows for sure what the screen used boots are since David P provided his own and isn't telling (or can't remember). I use a pair of WWII german officer parade boots for my Vader.

It's undersized but passable. The large curve goes around the neck opening facing the outside, the smaller slot goes inside the helmet.

You can get the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser from any department/grocery store in the household cleaning area. Novus you will need to contact boat marina shops, plastic distributors or get it online. The cheapest I've found it online is from amazon for $8.

I use a Mr. Clean magic eraser to get off the major scuffs, I leave the rest. I always seem to bump into the colorfully painted clones and wind up with a red, blue, or yellow streak on my armor.

Brandon Bush (@TheBrandonBush) tweeted a pic of the stormtrooper helmet we sent him. Sugarland is going to autograph it for an auction to benefit the Indy victims fund. More details will be posted when the helmet is returned.
Thanks to Terry (Pandatrooper) for finishing the helmet, and Jon (Blasty) for handling the Sugarland communications!

My condolences to you and your family.

I call those LEGO helmets.
Why insult LEGO with a helmet like that...
-
I've used a q-tip with mineral spirits to get painting goofs off of helmets before. If there is still a little residue the magic eraser will take care of it.
-
On my trooping helmet I put a few dabs of white glue just to make sure it doesn't try and come off. My only fear with CA glue is that it could fog the area around the neck trim as it dries.

Guys just got a friend to check this and he has confirmed the bonus discs are Blu-Ray!
Interesting, I guess Amazon got it wrong.
EDIT: And there it is, Amazon's listing is different than it was a week ago when I pre-ordered.
-
How can you watch it without a Blueray player - from your computer?
All the bonus material is DVD, only the movies are Blue Ray.
-
I'm getting the box set and don't have a BlueRay player. The mountain of extras will be worth it.
-
I can verify that freezing works. Just take your time getting it off and you should be fine.

I believe you have to register to see the Sith Lord Detachment's forums. It's been active for years as it's actually older than the FISD.

If you are patient you can get the Marmit figures off Ebay pretty reasonably. I got a stormtrooper $68, and a sandtrooper sgt. for $65.
