  2. Looks good mate - the armour that is. I'm not talking about your butt.
  3. Great tip thanks mate - I got a couple of flat ones, but that makes a whole lotta sense.
  4. Need to round out the corner of the frown a little - I'll also even up the three centre parts of the vocoder.
  5. I reckon I will - just to get coverage Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. first coat - coffee was a bad choice. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Perfect - I'm a paint rep - also a good idea to take the tape off sooner rather than later so you don't get bleed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Looks great mate! I love the ROTJ bucket -my reason for getting mine! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  10. I thought that. I'll have a look at how "stuck" the patches are. Maybe I can get it off. Maybe not. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. The hovi mic tips are a tight fit - I haven't tightened them too much for fear of cracking something. Are they supposed to sit flush at the base? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  13. just wondering how much I should trim off the base before applying the trim? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. You'll be the ear master by the end of it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Good stuff! can't wait to see pics
  16. You'll get it mate - I had to walk away and give it a day - I'm sure I'll have some challenges with the rest of it!
  17. I've got the liquid solvent equivalent that I used for the rest of the bucket - I'll pick up a precision bottle to apply it as it comes with a crappy brush built in the lid - way too messy and prone to mess.
  18. I'll sand back the cotton/superglue on the hovemic recesses to neaten them up before putting in the hovemics.
  19. It's a brand called Selleys superglue. Dries quick so I've had to be careful - not too bad I think. The ears were hard for me but now they're on so fingers crossed. I noticed they are a little asymmetrical but don't think you would notice front on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I went with superglue - hard as. It's only a couple of little spots do should be cool. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. So I've got the ear on - I've had a couple of areas where I have superglue bleed out - is there a tried and true method for buffing or removing the bleed without damaging the abs? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Good luck! I'll give the left ear a crack tonight when my patience is back to level.
  23. Left side is a bit trickier to get right - I've glued the left ear down, and trimmed the right one but have a few gaps here and there - will try glueing and cramping tomorrow.
  24. I moved the alignment al little -
  25. Is this alignment ok before I go glueing anything?
