Those links aren't working for me. Check out this thread. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/32273-tips-for-using-photobucket-to-post-pics/

I saw that on your build thread, and I plan on doing that. Thanks for the pics.
-
Try that, then post a pic. Probably won't even be able to see it.

How big is the gap between the back and kidney? According to the CRL,
- Back plate shall have no, or minimal overlap of the kidney plate.
Could you post a picture so we can see?
-
It's done. Wow. I'll post some pics tomorrow. I hope to hear your honest critiques/evals.

I had that exact same problem with my sniper plate. I'm so glad I looked at your thread. It's currently drying in the garage.

Near Utrecht, why?
I travel to Amsterdam a lot for work. Just curious. Welcome.

AM 2.0. I'm 6'2", 225 and I had to trim the hell out of it.
-
Where are you from, in the Netherlands?
-
Thanks. Didn't realize that.
-
How did you attach the male snaps to the Ab plate? Did you drill a hole and mount them, or did you just glue them on?
-
Hey Edward. I'm with GT too. I'm 6'2, 225 and I bought AM. I haven't done any shimming, just trimming. (Look at me, a poet and didn't know it). Maybe that'll work for you?

My Son is 19 and in the Army, or else I would totally do this for him. Great job.

Extremely new guy here and I want to begin by saying thank you. This is extremely helpful. I believe I have my maker narrowed down to RT. I am 6'1" and 205 lbs. I think this would be the best for me. Thoughts?
I do have a quick question. What is meant when they say shimming may be involved? Or, the RT kit Ears lack bumps? Like I said, I am new and simply looking to do the best I can. Thanks in advance.
I'm 6'2", 225, and AM fits me like it was made for me. I've not had to add any shims, just trim the pieces.

Looks great. I have a Hasbro/DD conversion too. It was a fun project.

Got the thighs done today. The right one gave me some issues, but I was able to figure it out. The rear seam just doesn't go exactly down the back of my leg. It's about an inch to the left. I was able to rivet on the battery pack, and started on the shins. I'll post some pictures later.

I have access to a 3D printer. Does anyone know of an accurate .STL file for a DLT-19, or MG34? Thanks.
-
I'm 6'2, 225 and the AM fits me well. Still in the building process, but it looks like I won't be adding any shims.

Ok, I got the pictures uploaded to Photobucket, so let's continue.
With the lexan scissors and some sandpaper I made quick work of the return edges.
I then test fitted it on my arm. And then marked where I was going to cut.
Connected the dots, clamped, scored and snapped.
Test fitted again before gluing on the cover strip.
So, I got a little daring. I tried out the ABS glue that came with the kit. I like it. I'm not patient enough for e6000. I'm just making sure everything fits, before I glue. I measured my cover strip, then marked the center line. Applied a very thin layer of glue, and clamped it on the arm.
30 minutes later I glued on the other half.
Finished left and right arms. I'll probably need to trim back the shoulder bells, but, I'll wait until I have the chest armor put together. Next step, thighs!

Well, I have more pictures, but, Tapatalk is being difficult. I'll try again later.

Overlapping back plate with kidney plate

Could you glue some elastic "tabs" inside the armor that the suspenders could then clip to?
