  1. If you changed out the belt, I would think so. It all depends on how it fits you, really. It's not the best out there, but I really can't see anything but the holster attachement to the belt that's so inaccurate that it would hinder you from being approved. But then again, I haven't seen it IRL. You could try to contact your local GML for a proper answer. Also, don't follow the Anovos instructions blindly. They're pretty good, but take a look at the forums here to see alternative methods that might work better for you and/or be more accurate.
  2. So basically, go for the romfx if you feel like spending the money, it's better. But you'll be happy with the iComm as well...
  3. You trooped on Saturday when I used my iComm! Also, yes (you don't want too much anyway), yes (but it comes with a speaker anyway, right?) and yes (quote: Due to no longer being able to ship batteries, the Classic now comes with the 12 volt setup, which consists of the 3-Way Snap Lead and 2 x 4 AA Battery Boxes)
  4. Can't really say that I'm dissatisfied with RS. Not with the armor nor the service. They can be a bit hard to reach by mail, but on facebook they answered me quickly and nicely in the chat. I can't say that I expect any more for a small company that does both manufacturing and distribution with just a few employees. Call them, send them a PM, they will answer you. E-mail, not so much. When it comes to armor, I think most RS costumers should be aware of the fact that they do "screen accurate" not "as first built". It's not perfect, and it isn't supposed to be. Some people like that straight off the set battle damage look, like me, and some people don't, that's totally fine, maybe RS isn't for you then. This should be clear if you read their page and do proper research.
  5. You should post some closeup shots of the areas of the armor where you have problems Hard to see anything in the pics you posted. Also, rotate them to the right orientation, if you don't mind
  6. Black chelsea boots + white spray paint or white leather dye works great. You can get these boots at pretty much any shoe store. I got a pair from H&M for pretty cheap and sprayed them white with cheapo spray paint. This is the easiest way to do it and it works great for me. It has kept me going for maybe 10 troops now and they look pretty much like in the movies, worn with black leather showing through, which is great because I'm going for that battle damage style. I did absolutely nothing to the shoes but mask off the soles before painting, so if you want to be shiny white then doing it properly is necessary. That means cleaning them well with acetone, probably some sanding and using a good flexible paint or even white leather dye. If you don't want to DIY, than imperialboots.com is a good alternative to TKboots.
  7. I have an ATA bucket with a foam star too, and I don't have this problem. Maybe you could adjust the padding so that your helmet leans more forward? I really don't think it's the shape of the helmet. To make mine fit properly I had to cut pieces off the foam star to make it thinner in some places, maybe you should try the same?
