  1. Well done! That looks amazing. I'm surprised how well the Valspar blended in with the rest of the helmet.
  2. Hello! TK-55117 Requesting 501st access/status http://www.501st.com/members/displaymemberdetails.php?userID=18717 Thank you!
  3. The FEM7 may not be canon but it is still a Star Wars inspired armor women can have fun with. It is definitely not a Rubies Halloween costume, but to each their own! Also I don't think any Stormtrooper armor is battle ready, boobs or not. C'mon guys we've all worn this stuff and no one is going to be lasting 5 seconds in any Stormtrooper armor lol!
  4. Navajo Bro, I have helped assemble many of the FEM7 kits during the Long Beach Comic Expo build as well as my fiancé Sandy's (TK-55118). She was the one trooping around with the red medic theme and communications pack. If I can help in any way, I would be more than happy and willing to. Just send me a pm or we can start a thread so others can follow along as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Thanks jedinite! I will pay it forward to VancouverTrooper.
  6. Hey bzb, Do the white thermal rings you made go all the way around? How wide are they? Did you ever find a solution for Shannon's boots?
  7. For anyone still interested I believe the weapon in the comic is a Merr-Sonn BB-23 heavy blaster canon.
  8. I agree with you wholeheartedly Kevin. The changes the upper up(s) want is completely unneccesary especially when the drawings in the comics is inconsistent and change throughout the pages (which is understandable since artists are usually pressed for time and have deadlines to meet. Attention to accuracy, consistency, and details is unrealistic in this regard). We have a great, officially licensed by Lucasfilm statue of Jes Gistang, which you based your kit on, so I don't understand the problems the upper up(s) is having. Your kit is spot on with the statue and in my humble opinion the kit looks better without the changes, especially the thermal detonator. In addition, this is the first time women would be able to have 501st approvable Stormtrooper armor designed with them in mind! Why would anyone want to get in the way of that or hold it up?
  9. Any luck with Stacy getting approved yet Doctor? Btw thanks for posting reference photos and being so willing to help Sandy and I with questions. Couldn't have done it without you
  10. My girlfriend trooped her femtrooper armor this past weekend here in Iowa. People loved it!
  11. 11 does look great. Are the mic tips matte as well?
  12. Helmet looks great TK6682! I was wondering is everyone going with 11 tube stripes? Are they gloss black?
