  4. I am really liking the brackets. I have a set that I want to use, but I am a bit concerned with how the ABS will hold up over time with them. I don't think too much stress would be put on the holes/attachment area but I am still worried about stress cracks over time. Any thoughts?
  5. I ended up printing them out and laminating them before I cut out the stripes.

  9. I have a bucket from Faraway Creations. It came with 2 separate lens pieces and they are nice quality but barely cover the holes for the eyes. How am I supposed to attach them? I wear glasses also. Any suggestions? Hope I didn't post this and it was already answered. Thanks!
  10. What did you guys print these with?
  11. I have not tried this in my bucket because I am still putting things together but perhaps these may work. http://spectaclekits.com/brands/scott Just pop in lenses and secure inside the bucket. I use this with my air mask when fighting fires and they work great. zennioptical.com has really cheap prices on prescription glasses. Order up a pair that has the same shape as the frames and replace. Hope this helps, Aaron
  12. Have you ever worn chemical gloves for extended periods of time in warm weather? You will have life.
  13. Thanks man. I appreciate the info. A friend of mine does professional painting on cars, I will most likely have him help or paint for me. What you mentioned makes perfect sense to me though.
  14. I am in the process of building a TX. The armor has to be all black (I know maybe a bit taboo for this forums). My question is that should I paint before or after assembly? I am worried about having to do repairs/upgrades to the armor in the future and then having unpainted areas. My guess is to paint before if I wetsand, primer, paint, clear coat, then assemble. But I am not to sure on this. Aaron
  15. They don't look even close to the same
  16. If JJ follows suit from his obey movies, stormtroopers will be back and completely in badass armor.

  21. Hello. I have a friend that has access to making parts for certain things. But the problem is she has to work with PLA instead of ABS due to asthma. She said painting PLA proves to be difficult. Anyone have suggestions? Aaron
