    Have you done an acrylic ink wash on it yet? A black wash should mute the colors more.

    I've added cover strips to the greaves and painted them and the boots. No weathering effects yet. Same processs as the helmet.

    Looks perfect. At this point I drew pencil lines where the face and cap met so I could line it all back up after I drilled out the teeth and eyes.

    The CRL's do say "Should be aged white with some areas having a drab olive greenish and yellowed tint." I can see where the problem may be. I think it looks cool but definitely get some green on there.

    Kudos to the first person to troop in one of these. I know I'll be watching the build thread with great interest. It's not the suit but the creativity in the process used to build it that will have my interest.

    Dug out an old pair of well worn CABoots and started on those yesterday and attacking the FX kit. Gonna be a busy weekend I think. I've got 2 conventions next month. RI Terrorcon http://www.terrorcon.net/ and Walker Stalker Con Boston http://walkerstalkercon.com/boston/. Want to be ready for them.

    Ok so lots of pictures in different lighting of what I hope will be the finished product. I'm approaching the "less is more" zone and I don't want to go overboard and just muck up the whole thing now.

    Bit late but some work done. My free hand painting isn't where I would like it but it's improving with each pass. Base coat is Flat Ivory. The first picture is before painting.

    Applied a base coat of Flat Ivory. Tube stripes and traps today. Whole thing gets a misting of Moss Green then on to weathering. Hopefully progress pics tonight.

    Ok I know it's been a while but winter realy held me back from working outside. Anyway got some work done this weekend at a build day. Finished assembly of the helmet then broke my heart when I took a dremmel to it and cut a big hole in it. More to come.

    Small progress. Attached the left ear to the helmet. Nothing you guys haven't seen in any other build so I won't bore you with pics. Need a bit more trimming to make it fit more flush. I'll be wrapping up this helmet in the next week with progress pics then on to the other parts. Oh, and the paints are all in hand and the trap and tube stripe templates are ordered.

    No progress right now other then to note that my Testors French Blue arrived in the mail for the tube stripes. I need the weather to break so I can get outside to work. I don't have a garage or workshop to run the dremmel in. I'll be ordering needed parts and keep you all posted. I see Trooperbay is having a sale.

    Looks cool but do you realy want to put a portable fusion generator on a Stormtrooper?

    Probably the last update on the mask. Added another inking in brown today using a thicker ink mixed with some dish soap. More helmet work to come.
