  1. Hey everyone! Currently building a DLT-19 kit that was created by a fellow garrison member, Gattaca. I'm well on my way to building it. I just purchased a hyperdyne kit to add and was curious if there was someone would could give some tips on adding the electronics. I figure I should wait to receive the kit before I start carving out the trigger and stock. The other question I have is about connecting the two pieces. I thought magnets might be a good alternative but they might not be strong enough. Gattaca uses the screw through the bolt method but will that work if the connecting tube is hollowed or for the electronics? Also thought about doing the doopeydoo method by having the two pieces just screw together (adding the appropriate threads on the inside and outside)
  2. Also be sure that your mid is pointed the right way. The white line on the mic should be facing you.
  3. Hey Brad. What's the air canada bag for? Just storage?
  4. I use a skywriter for RC planes in my boba fett jetpack. Creates too much smoke I think for what you are looking at, but I'm sure you could cut the power a bit
  5. While not a fan, this is definitely an alternative:--------------- I get REALLY toasty in my Fett so wearing one of these cooling headbands has really helped me stay focused and not overly fatigued. I usually pair this with a fan setup and it does me quite well. You can also find ones to go around your neck, arms, legs, etc.
  6. I think I have what you are looking for. It's the fett suit sound when he first makes his appearance as the super trooper? PM me your email and I'll send it.
  7. Didn't expect this thread to get bumped I couldn't find a bluetooth solution, but I ended up just going the wireless route. The system is the one provided by TKVoiceBooster.

  9. That's pretty much what I've settled on as well, Timmer. Cheers.
  10. Hey guys! Sorry if this has been covered...for some reason I'm having lots of issues trying to work the search function on this site. I never get any responses for anything. Anywho, I'm looking for an alternative for the Aker headset. It still works, but for my Fett I keep my aker in my side pouch, so the mic cable runs all the way down my body to my hip. Not to get too descriptive, but after a long troop, I've been noticing that moisture is causing the speech to be intermittent. I am looking for a bluetooth option. I've seen 3.5mm bluetooth receivers that run about $10 that can make the aker amp bluetooth...which is great. But I'm having the hardest time looking for a microphone only headset that is low profile. Something like this would be perfect, but needs bluetooth:---------------- Budget is around $20-$30 for the mic, and I'd prefer to have a boom-style mic so that it's adjustable. I've seen lots of 'yoga instructor' headsets, but they are extremely expensive....probably because they include a receiver amp as well.
