  1. Making pilot holes for the clips and screws. I love UKSwarth's TD clips.
  2. Preparing the top plate for gluing.
  3. We had to remove a little to get the 7.5" mark. We used a mini hacksaw.
  4. Thermal detonator build.
  5. Drumstrooper helping out with the boots (converting them to white).
  6. Adding tiny ABS strips to fill in the openings. This will help secure the straps to the front plate better.
  7. Shoulder straps. Cut the length first and then the width. Done!
  8. Covering the brass color at the scope (painting it black and then weathering it out to remove the gloss).
  9. Bingo's blaster = 2015 Hyperfirm
  10. Converting ANH (A New Hope) holster to ESB (Empire Strikes Back) style. Picked up a plain leather belt from Joann's Fabrics. We had a bunch of 50% coupons. Belt cost us $5.00.
  11. Cutting the cut the buttons. Always start with a new blade. Size reference Done! Excuse the blue tape. We're allowing the glue to set.
  12. You can bend the ammo pack and belt together. Almost done.
  13. Adding loop velcro to protect the abs plate from the exposed rivet. Hot glued strap to cover side rivets
  14. Belt assembly TKittel canvas belt
  15. Garrison members helping out. Family and friends watching.
  16. How to make the West Coast Holder.
  17. To prevent the kidney and abs plates from separating (while trooping), this is what I call the "Holder"! Here's the inside Additional velcro holders will be added to keep it together.
  18. This is how I remove the excess portions of the armor and make smooth curves before cutting. I'm using electrical tape as my guide and pin stripe to get unique curves. This is a great for first timers to cut curves on ABS plastic. Lay out the tape and cut into long strips. Done!
  19. Bottom rivet to abs plate My wife taught me how to sew. So i'm sharing my new idea to protect the bottom under suit and family jewels. Using velcro to cover the rivet.
  20. Using a seamstress chalk to mark the elastic strap betwee the kidney and abs plates. Reinforced the inside with leftover ABS strips. This will help support the two joints while trooping. Using the drumstrooper method: rivet, strap, rubber washer, steel washer...and then hammer it in. We bought the rubber washers from OSH (California). Done!
  21. Using this as a reference only.
