  2. Bought a pair of Loake boots 290(i think ) on sorenM's recommendation and i am going to paint them this week. First i scrubbed them down with preparer liquid(some kind of alcohol) and then started painting Enjoy!

Just kept the d-ring as it was and bondoed that looks the same so it doesn't matter hmm, maybe i'll just paint the brass or something, o i didn't make the trigger work... next build ill do that And yes that is the Jawa to be don't know when tho forgot to buy weathering paint tho... Guess i need copper, brass and silver?

  6. it's 1.8mm http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/16705-the-best-sterling-templates-ever/page-8#entry204703
  7. hmmm, Guess i have to go and look around for whichever coathanger i can find... What is the specced with? 2mm?
  8. Thanks for the detailed description but i had already figured out how i wanted to do it , was more what material you used and if you had any tip on a turning motor but i guess you can do it by hand the tube i have is 38mm so a regular broomhandle will probably be perfect. Can you find the ikea coat hanger you bought on ikea.com? Can't find it on the webpage... maybe it's discontinued.
  9. Best would be to have something that revolves 10 RPM and holding it hard... Any ideas what i could use?
  10. The spring looks awesome so i think it's a waste to switch it out Will go and get a coathanger on ikea this weekend + Paint
  11. A question, where did you find your spring?
  12. Where did you get the ammo belt? My girlfriend wants to do a jawa costume becase she is only 158cm tall so she could pass as a tall one
  13. Huh, i thought the t-tracks where the same color as the main body? Best thing about DVH is that i can just remove my pistolgrip handle as it slides on like a real weapon
  14. Cool! The problem with finding whitearmor and doing your own builds is that each time i see a E11 or a Stormtooper suit anywhere i can just see all the faults with the armor, which other people does not seem to notice And i guess it's even worse for the veterans!
  15. No it's made of metal, hmm i find it hard to explain what i mean...
  16. The problem is bending the 3mm ring because I am afraid to break the resin
  17. Use any special paint? Or did you just go down to the closest shop and buy spraypaint?
  18. Nice! You will probably finish before me in this pace
  19. Looking good! I am deciding if i want to do the extra work for working trigger myself
  20. Still the scary parts of epoxying everything to the pipe Thanks! Made some small progress before i quit for the day. Glued the endcap slot Bended the dring in, it's not the exact model but i was thinking of doing epoxy(bondo) between the gap and paint it to make it seemless. Trigger, I still haven't decided if i want to do a functioning trigger.
  21. Fast question! Should the top most T-Track cover all the holes except the one closest to the body where you place the scopemount, because there is a 12mm hole at the front just behind the sight, should that be open? edit: NVM Did it already! Made this better then it looks on the picture. Done! Turned out good! Using a metal pipe makes it so much easier as you can heat it on the pipe instead.
  22. I did walk with them for 30 minutes and the right shoe fits like a glove but the left one shaved my little toe, i guess i need to wear them more...
