I had a thought on the mic tips, i feel like they are strangely aligned what do you guys think?(Troopermaster built it for me so in that case i would need to do a new hole and reinforce the old hole to keep it strong) Also does anyone know a good glue to glue the silicone handguards to the rubber gloves?

Got my kit today! Only got started on the helmet as i ordered it preassembeled and wanted to get a part done before i start on the armor!

Really haven't thought about it... probably going to go at my own pace.

Talked to Troopermaster last night and he has molded the kit but he is going to assemble the helmet for me and make the belt first How is it going for you?

The drybrushing was really easy and super nice when you did it above the varnish, i'd rather just reapply the weathering if it wears down How is the armor going then Soren? gotten it yet?

Pretty much done now A bit more matt then i would like, but i was thinking that it will get weathered when i am using it so i think it will turn out well.

We have bauhaus Will go there then, got a good brand you've used from there?

It does not seem like the place i bought does not have matt varnish. Will have too go to a proper paint shop or something.

Thanks for the tip! Should i look into buying matt varnish made for figures? I would guess the spray nozzle is smaller. Or just buy a bottle and use a fine brush so i can avoid the milk problem.

Matt varnish like with warhammer characters? It's a type of clearcoat right? What is your goto drybrush technique? Never acually done it before (well i have maybe in kindergarden but i cannot waste paint as i did then...) Edit: Guess i need to buy an airbrush for the matt varnish.

Done with the painting of the "main" gun, still have scope and counter left but will deal with them later. Unfortunately the paint turned out a bit glossy especially on the mag / frontsight / barrel but i am hoping i can either sand it a bit with some wet sandpaper or i could hope that the weathering will hide the gloss by painting silver on parts where the glossyness is high and weathering makes sense. Please come with ideas! (rather not strip it of color and redo ) Did use the rough side of a kitchenspounge to try and make it more matte, worked somewhat.

Then i must be even higher because i didn't order the suit assembled only the helmet assembled...

I don't even want to start counting how much money i've spend so far ... i am probably up to 18000 sek (2774$)

... shucks i need to buy an airbrush and add the last layers with it on my boots to smoothen them out. (but i guess the boots used in the movies where painted with a brush) Nice work!

I have to agree with SorenM if you are going to put down the work and do the boots, buy a good pair because if you are trooping you are going to be walking a lot.

Is my left little toe only i think my feet are asymetrical because i only have the problem on my left foot, little toe. I used a preparer on mine so my boots where actually pretty matt when istarted painting so that was a plus. Hope ou get a good finish with that paint, i think the "real" boots use blank paint.

I am using a sponge brush look att he first picture to see how it looks They fit better but not great yet, if i go trooping i will defenetly need to use a bandaid before going. Why are you making a new pair?
