  1. I've found that whatever size converse all stars fit you will also fit your TK boots.
  2. Hey thanks! Glad you like it. I never tried to put the cheek pads in, I didn't need them to keep the helmet from bobbling, but it's neat to see it done.

  4. That's just some corrugated tube that a buddy often had lying around. In my head that's what I always thought would be there on a "real" one. It looks cool and is just held in by friction. I do take it out though so I can use my fans from Echo. Eventually I'm going to see if I can combine the two.
  5. Oh, and the cog is just the 3" patch that you can buy from Trooperbay.
  6. Ok, I see it now, thanks. Boy that's gonna be a pain to fix. Anyway, more on the inside. First a lot of credit has to go to Trays helmet for what I did to mine. I painted the inside with a layer of black Krylon fusion and then covered that with spray Plastidip. The covering over the lenses is headliner material that I picked up at Joann. The padding is a removable liner from a motorcycle helmet that I picked up on sale from Cycle Gear. http://www.cyclegear.com/CycleGear/Biker/Helmets/Open-Face/brand/BILT/Roadster-Open-Face-Motorcycle-Helmet/p/32162_59409_199 I would think the XL padding would work for just about anybody, and it fits the helmet pretty well. I just held it in with Velcro. You can buy just the liners from different companies off of Amazon, but I wanted to be able to try it on before I bought it, and for $40 it was worth it. It's extremely comfortable, and no bobble head.
  7. Huh? I honestly don't know what you mean. Looking at my stencils I cannot see how there could be a left and a right. Please explain.
  8. Thanks guys! It's good to know that my work meets the high standards set here. Special thanks to Tray for being able to get this helmet out to me so quickly, and also for some of the inspiration for the inside of my bucket.
  9. That looks great. I have two boys that I think I'm going to have to build for eventually.
  10. I've been working really hard getting my bucket together, and wanted to share what I came up with. This is the first I've shared any of my work here, so I'm a little nervous to hear the feedback. I still plan on adding fans, probably a mic, and I might try to make the inside trim even cleaner. I also need new S-trim. It was cut too short so i just have a filler piece there for the time being. Here it is.
  11. I wear a 12 (US) and had to get an 11. I was swimming in the 12.
  12. I worked on mine yesterday, and I too couldn't get the ears to fit right. The back piece bulges out so far I can't get it close to touching in. He front, and there's definitely no way to get them up as high as they should be. The guys from my garrison couldn't get it either. Gotta say I'm a bit displeased by that, and will most likely order a new helmet from a different manufacturer.
