  1. There's no actual piping in it, it's just the puff from the foam headliner between stitch lines. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. It's looking great, thanks so much for all your hard work.
  3. Well hopefully with a more and more people working on this, it will get changed to MQ, I really like the thought of that designation. I appreciate Locitus checking in on it, and maybe we'll here something official. I would love to have my 501st trading card have the MQ designation. Thanks to everyone for weighing in on the subject. Travis
  4. Thanks for letting me know. I was checking, because I will be using this for my 501st trading card in upcoming series 10, and wanted to clear up whether it should have the TK or MQ designation.
  5. I thought that the designation for the Concept stormtrooper was supposed to be MQ, but on 501st.com it still shows up as TK. Am I mistaken in this thinking, or did I just read the November FISD newsletter wrong?
  6. Got my approval today. Had to adjust a few things from when the pics were taken, so the pic's don't show everything finalized. And this is my favorite from the con, I finished this trooper for. It's not an approved lightsaber, but it is what I had.
  7. Looks like I made Reddit. 50,000 views, you're armor is sure getting a lot of exposure Kevin. http://www.reddit.com/r/StarWars/comments/20mpyx/the_best_cosplay_ive_ever_seen/ Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. Thanks Kevin, I will definitely trim them down. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. That's something I'll do in the future, I didn't realize they would look so huge on me. But I would say it didn't come out bad for a 15 day build.
  10. Finished it in time for day 2 of Planet Comicon. Here's a pick of me with my R2.
  11. Thanks, the5thHorseman, I'll talk to my GML about it. I'm not sure if the GML can approve without a CRL change or not.
  12. Well, I was working on a test fitting yesterday, but from reading the CRL, I won't get approved, because my aerators on my bucket aren't white. Not sure if the CRL will change. Some completed bucket pics.
  13. And just like that, my armor is shiny, now to let it dry, and begin assembly pretty soon.
  14. The5thHorseman thanks for the pics, I never realized how tough it would be to put armor together without very many build logs and finished photo's to base yours on. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. Very impressed, they look great. Would love to see more pics if you have them.
  16. OK, got stuff bondo'd and ready for paint, also laid down some primer today, so I can sand this stuff up, and hopefully give it a final gloss coat on Monday when it's 70 here.
  17. Thanks Kevin, I've had my eye out on rmqconceptcrew.com eagerly awaiting your updates. Meanwhile, I have all the arms and legs bondo'd and I'm working on sanding them. Hoping to do some painting on Friday. Will post more pics then. Travis
  18. Got the bucket test fit, I will have to start painting it, once I have all the other pieces ready for paint.
  19. Have you guys worked on the Belt yet? Curious where to cut the piece that attaches to each side to make the belt go around the back.
  20. Yeah, I can totally understand not wanting to bondo and paint, it's going to be a lengthy process to get this stuff totally smooth. I had to take a break, my arm was getting tired.
  21. Pieces glues and assembled. Time to get out the Bondo and start making these things seamless.
