Finished putting together another E-11 blaster. This is a modified Hasbro E-11 with a modified Doopydoos conversion kit. Just want to see what everyone thinks.

Probably will be a while before I get to start mine. Alot of other SW projects going on right now. It looks like you used 1 1/4 pvc. Do you remember the wood thickness or type of wood you used? That would be a huge help. Thanks.

Is it a hasbro e-11? If so they are pretty east to modify. You can get a conversion kit for about $40

Looking for advise. I have absolutely everything except the main armor set. I wanted to go with AM armor but got an update email today stating that the order and release date has been pushed back indefinitely. My second choice was RT-MOD but there backordered all the way to the beginning of 2014. Ive heard that ATA may fit with shimming, there waiting list is 6 months. Was also looking at at contacted T/MC. I could have an armor set from them 1-2 months. The post above this has my measurements. Could a T/MC set be made to fit? Or are there any other recommendations on what I could do? Thanks.

Is there any way non members can get feedback on this before making payment?

On the waiting list for this armor. Supposenly they said it should start shipping soon. Would like to see pics and feedback on it if theres anything posted somewhere. Dont have access to the 501st area.

Reassembled helmet. A little worried about the ear gaps... What do you guys think?

Still trying to decide between the ATA and AM armor. Would prefer ATA but I dont know if im too big for it still. Dont think I really want to go into the price range or RT-Mod. Here are my rough measurements If someone could help refer me to one or the other.

Been working on my helmet and getting all the things I need while waiting for my armor. Was going to order Line 24 snaps of ebay in a 100 pack. Have seen 5/16'', 9/16'', and 5/8''. Was wondering which ones to get. Also ordering the black nylon webbing. Is 1 inch wide enough or should I go wider.

With the help of some local 501st members we got the helmet assembled. Today I trimmed out the eyes and frown. How does it look? Do I need to trim more?

Started Trimming. IDK why but I feel like I already screwed it up. What do you guys think?

Marked the lines on my helmet. Some areas have 2 and are numbered. Im not sure which one to cut at. Also not sure if I need to trim the forehead area of the faceplate or not. Looks like it ok already. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Will sand with dremel to smoothe out the lines once cut.

Received my ATA helmet in the mail yesterday. Excited to get things rolling. I can pretty much see the lines I need to trim at, but to be safe ill trace them, post some pics, and then get your opinions. Dont want to screw this up.

Received my ATA helmet kit yesterday. Hopefully start on it this week. Also found foam padding for it. Have been looking at the interior pics or other helmet posts and have noticed that alot of people paint the inside of the helmet black. Is this just for looks, or does it make it harder to see the inside of the helmet through the lens? Also trying to find fans for inside the helmet. Plan on putting in 2 of them running on 9v batteries. Was looking at these http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=10211&st=680#entry258913 but there sold out and I havent heard if hes going to make more. Would like to find something as similar as possible. Any sources or suggestions?

Is there a specific size snap that is best?

Looking for a good helmet padding but not something too thick. Saw this recommended http://www.specopstactical.com/helmet-mich-pasgt-helmets-p-4059.html Has anyone tried it, or does anyone have another suggestion?

Thats what I plan on using them for, is to secure the pieces when I glue them.

Ive read several posts about using rare earth magnets but I havent seen anything about a recommended size or type. I was considering getting N52 1/2 x 1/8 which is about 8lbs of pull (I think). Didnt know if this would be too strong or if the size magnet was ok. I will be using these for both the helmet and armor build.

Found the dimentions: The 1506 is 3.75x2.81x1.08 The 1505 is 4.13x3.31x1.38 Dosent sound too bad but when drawn out you can see a big difference. Just worried that the 1505 might be too big for under the chestplate. Does anyone have experience with the 1505 that can comment on that? Was also wondering if its worth it to go from a 10 watt to a 12 for the same size difference. Thanks.
