Anyone ever done these mods on a MRCE helmet? I was thinking of cutting out the cheeks and pointing the fans out to help defog my helmet. I've yet to have serious issues with the MRCE being too hot but it doesn't take long to be almost blind from fogging <_< -
OK, at the expense of sounding like a noob, which I am , does the MRCE have enough room in it for fans and a mike? Having asked that are there any helmets that don't have space for fans/mic? I am thinking of going the MRCE route because it seems a little better than the bobble head FX but still within my poor college kid budget. And though I have found info on every helmet I hear about I seem to keep forgetting it...hmm, need to put it in a spreadsheet or something.

That is more or less what mine look like. I'm not a big guy so I had to trim my FX thighs down quite a bit. I even cut off part of the ridge from the underlaping (is that a word?) part of the thigh because it felt odd other wise.
