Here in the UK we cant get tester 1138 which is apain ,is it poss i could ask someone to buy a pot of tester 1138 and i can paypal them for it and shipping plus a little bit more ...i know this might sound cheeky just want to get my AP helmet and armour right

Hi this might sound realy stupid to some but is it me, (maybe i am doing something wrong) but the grey humbrol no.5 seems to have got lighter .can anyone enlighten me on this ?

Don't worry mate, not only will you develop a better sense of spacial awarenes you will have extra sets of eyes looking out for you to ensure you do not trip or walk into kids/walls.

Thats why the UKG insist on spotters .

i know this has come up a few times i recently placed green tinted weldng lense in my helmet as i have my first troop around the corner. I dont want people to view my eyes ...the problem is i cant see much when inside outside in day light is ..ok, basically i dont want to knock into something or at worst full over a small object ..like a young child any help would be a big help

ABS is a very forgiving plastic,its semi soft flexable and will polish out scratches well.

 

I have been able to heavy sand ABS with a very course paper,then a fine grade leading to wet and dry.This will leave a very matt finish.

 

to get the shine back there are three versions of NOVAS heavy,med and final shine.its not hard to use but will require elbow grease.I have also had fantastic results with T-CUT and silver polish compound.

 

But Novas is a must for your trooper tool kit.

Thanks Peter, the reason im asking is that i just recieved my AP armour and there are a few light scratches on a couple of bits of the ABS armour nothing major ,know i no i can polish these out its put my mind at ease ,small things like that bug me
