1. Just wanted to thank you for such an amazing job on this thread!!! I referenced this so much on my build and I learned a lot from what you posted. As I'm typing this I have 9 separate pages of this thread open for reference. Well done and again thanks a million!
2. Just wanted to thank you for sharing this fantastic build! I got so many ideas and learned so much from following your progress and I don't think I would have completed my build without your posts. Your build looks excellent, job well done!

Thanks again!

Josh
3. Ok, great! They were able to slide an inch or so in either direction, but I'll sew them in position to keep them permanently placed. Thanks again!
4. Thanks for all the help, support, and comments from everyone! The suggestions are great and I'm definitely going to keep improving things, but I'm going to take the rest of the day off and enjoy being Centurian! Ha ha, good catch on the ab buttons, forgot to rotate that picture, so that's on me. As far as the hair goes, I'm not sure. It's for a Luke Skywalker that I do for the RL (I know, I'm a sell out!) and the kids at the hospital last weekend seemed to like it, so I may keep it for a bit. But it's driving me a bit bonkers! Maybe next I'll have to do ANH Hero Luke!
5. Thanks for lending your keen eye to my project... Great suggestions for continued Improvements! .
6. Forgot to mention, as was suggested during the EIB process, I switched the shoulders, re-did the holster, and trimmed the ab sides to the 10mm specification. Fingers crossed...

8. Awesome, thanks! I'm going to do your suggested trimming tomorrow. Centurian here I come! Thanks to all for the comments, help, and support!
9. Here is the new and improved holster, 3/4" wide and 1" long straps. Fingers crossed...
10. Thanks for the constructive feedback from all! The boys did the build for me and I've been tinkering with it a bit since then. (I'm biased, but IMO they do amazing work!) Should be easy enough to fix the holster and rotate the bells. I just measured and it's about 20mm spacing on the rivets and snap. I've lost a few inches around my waist so that's probably the difference. I can trim that down to 10mm and hopefully keep the weight off! Just to confirm, 10mm from the edge of the armor to the edge of the rivet, correct? Thanks again for the help!

13. I ordered the mannequin that Jim is selling. I think it's a reasonable price and it arrived two days later (from Texas to Oklahoma) via FedEx. The box was pretty beat up when it arrived but the contents were not damaged at all. It took about 90 seconds to set up and it looks good. (My wife won't go near it and made me put it in a closet as it reminds her of the American Horror Story guy.) Now all I need is my RS kit to place on the mannequin and I'm all set. The only slight ding is that Jim said that while the fingers are posable they cannot hold the weight of a blaster. He suggested a workaround for this by using black wire to secure the blaster in the hand for whatever pose I'm looking for. Will see how that all goes down once I get my RS kit but thus far I'm happy with it. Thanks again for all the recommendations from everyone!
14. Four stars for communication with them, all my emails were answered in minutes. I placed my order and had the boots delived just a few days later and the packaging was in great shape. I heeded the warnings from other posts here and as I am normally a size 10.5 I ordered size 10. To my surprise my feet are still floating in them. But I'm sure that it's nothing that a comfy insole and some extra thick socks can't sort out. I would recommend ordering a full size smaller than what you normally wear as others here have suggested. But they sure do look awesome! Can't wait to get my RS kit, strap on the boots, and begin to live the dream.
15. Hey Mark, thanks for that link. Unfortunatly I'm not in the Legion yet (as I'm just starting my build) so I can't view it. But I do appreciate the reply. I'm thinking I want something in-between the duct tape method and the creme de la creme.
16. Thanks for the reply Dennis. What's the duct tape approach? Is there a thread on how to do that? Whatever it is, it looks pretty good. And thanks also to you Damian, your mannequin looks awesome! But 800+ GBP is a bit pricy for me personally to spend on a mannequin.
17. Does anyone own or have a lead on a mannequin to place TK armor on for a display when not trooping? Would be very nice to be able to display the armor holding a blaster when it's not being worn. Any suggestions or points in the right direction would be appreciated. Thanks.
18. Oops, forgot to ask one other question. I'm trying to decide on going with ABS or PVC. I've read the descriptions on the RS site but I'm still not sure which might be best for me. I imagine I'd be doing light trooping but it would mainly be on display. Does anyone have thoughts on ABS VS PVC? Thanks!
19. Thanks Locitus for the info. I'm leaning towards getting the RS fully loaded package as it looks great on their website. I've tried looking for user pictures in these forums without a lot of luck. I spent about an hour surfing the build threads and found a couple pictures but wasn't able to find what I was looking for. If anyone has an RS build or knows of someone that does please feel free to talk my eyes on to their pics on here for me to check out. I'm starting to get way too excited...
20. Too cool! The 5-year old in me is so jealous! Way to go!
21. Hi All, First of all let me echo the comments of so many others that this thread (and site) is tremendous. I've had the dream of being a trooper for years and have looked at many sites with no luck. The comments and replies here have been so supportive and helpful that it's steeled my resolve to make this dream come true. Thanks to all who have posted here for the inspiration and information. I'm hoping that the members here might give some advice as I begin the journey. My goal is to assemble the TK gear (probably from ANH, either hero or stunt) that's right for me and that will aid my application to the 501st. (Attaining Expert Infantryman or Centurion would be pretty cool as well.) Price isn't a deciding factor as I'm happy to spend money on quality items. I'm not skilled with crafting items or doing mods so something ready to wear is the best option for me. I'm 5'10" and vary from 160-180 pounds depending on how lazy I am. Prior to reading this thread I was keen on purchasing from jedi-robe but it seems that's not a solid option. I was also looking at purchasing from SDS (if that's the originalstormtrooper site) and having it delivered to my job overseas then bringing it home to the USA but it seems that there isn't all positive feedback from SDS. Is it just the sketchy delivery from SDS or is the quality not worth the price? The one thing I noted on SDS is that it seems as if it's made to put on display and not for trooping. I've requested information from RS Propmasters on their fully loaded suit as there have been good reviews here. I've also sent off an email to TK boots as they seem quite popular and there's a waiting list. I've spent a few hours surfing this site and thread but now I seem to have more questions than answers so I thought I'd ask the experts here. What advice can you give me on purchasing ready to wear TK gear (ANH hero or stunt) that will allow me to join the 501st (and hopefully upgrade to AI or Centurion)? Thanks for any replies and same team, same dream of bringing the joy of Star Wars to all!
