  1. Thanks Terrell! It went together very well and I'm really happy with the way it turned out. I can happily recommend your kit to anyone who asks where to get one.
  2. ATA was my first build ever. I'm 5'10" 160 lbs and the kit fits my very well. The only modifications I had to make to the armor itself was bending the butt and kidney plate with a heat gun. I haven't trooped in it yet, but will in a couple of weeks. It looks great and everyone who has seen it says so. Terrell makes a great kit and I definitely recommend it.
  3. I used super glue in a few spots on the front and back on mine. I can still get it slip it off the sides in case I ever need to get the ears off, but the rest of that thing isn't moving.
  4. Looking good! I actually think the teeth could be opened up a bit more on the tops and bottoms. Just my opinion.
  5. There's something really creepy about this photo...
  6. I am now part of the tribe! "Due to the work you have done for the Empire, along with your correspondence of your Garrison Membership Liaison (GML) and the Legion Membership Officer, your application to join the 501st has been approved!" TK 11010 reporting for duty!
  7. Yes for the white elastic on the shoulder bridges, no for painted helmet screws....at least not yet.
  8. I tried my skills with the heat gun. That thing works wonders! No more flare. I raised the right bicep and forearm a little bit. I think it looks better than before. I'd say this thing is about finished! Still making small tweaks here and there. One other thing I have noticed is that elastic tends to stretch itself out, especially at the top shoulder straps and chest/ab straps. I'm going to double it up in a few places to make it hold better. Can't wait to get troopin'! A dance move to show my excitement
  9. Yeah the helmets aren't symmetrical at all. Just look at it in a mirror. Looks kinda freaky.
  10. shorten up the straps holding the shoulder bells and run a strap from the inside of the bicep to the shoulder bell and your arms will be all better. looks great man
  11. I decided to do a Y brace. Thighs stay straight for me. Nice looking build dude!
  12. Peter, that looks awesome. One quick note, the elastic around the bicep should be black. I need to get you your clamps back. Good work!
  13. Eyes look great. Maybe open up the two center openings in the teeth a bit more. Check out the frown reference pics for all the details. Keep going!
  14. Your helmet looks great so far. The teeth could use some more paint though. It should go from top to the bottom. And the tops and bottoms on one won't necessarily line up with the one next to it.
  15. Here's a pic of my clips. They are just aluminum so I can bend them back pretty easily. I've always had a hard time trying to make the right arm/bicep look right. The left just works for some reason. They aren't the same shapes or size. The butt join measurements on both are exactly the same. Might have to mess around with the strapping or something...maybe redo the whole forearm completely. Are the right arm pieces typically bigger than the left? Or is that just on ATA?
