April 19, 2014
GTA Comic Con
Toronto, Canada
The troops they are coming fast and furious as the weather is improving in these parts.
Today we had a chance to attend the first ever GTA Comic Con. It was a fun little one day show. Me and the Jawas joined the Canadian Garrison to support the event.
Backing up the Jawas:

Super Official Props to Steve Chiu (WideAMG) who trooped the ENTIRE two day affair (with the occasional very brief break). That's 12 hours Saturday and 8 more on Sunday! IMPRESSIVE!

Sunday April 13 - Day 2 Images
Not the whole Sunday group, but close:
a little Girl Guide love for the Jawa
Tusken SELFIE!
Time for a ride!
please forgive the Tusken for not wearing his neck breather canister, there was a bit of an electronics snafu that caused a complete kit down and back up again in a hurry to get out to the public. I hate every picture of the day, but the public don't even notice or care...

Added Lego Star Wars Day 1

Greetings troopers, its been a while since I have had the please of filing a troop report. I have been on way too many non-imperial assignments!
The Canadian Garrison was invited to attend the Lego Star Wars Days at the Legoland Discovery Centre in Vaughn, Ontario (That's Canada folks!). We had the pleasure of the Galactic Academy Naboo Campus supplying a couple of meddlesome Jawas to the event.
Blah blah blah, you want pictures, right? FINE, here you go:

Bobby. This is a good looking build overall.
Couple of comments I would have would be that The forearms and biceps do appear to be a little oversized/roomy compared to your arms. Also the tube stripes seem to be a tad low on the bucket. Could just be me on the phone here though.
Good luck with your application.

Congrats on your EIB certification.
-
I have a zippered version - > no issues whatsoever putting it on.

TrooperTim is the Star Garrison Attaché, he hails from just outside of Dallas. Drop him a PM and I am sure he can direct you to some local-ish assistance!

CONGRATS STEVE!! #3 in the Canadian Garrison. Toss that blue patch aside, I have a Burgundy one for you with a Centurion Rocker the next time we meet!
Way to go! you are the new Garrison Standard!
-
Congrats on your Centurion appointment Trooper!

Be sure you're undersuit is fairly snug to your body. You don't want it loose and bunching up at your elbow or other areas else it could become a pain point and look sloppy.
Keep up the good work and hopefully you can get a crew to come down to Fan Expo this year. It's gonna be another great one!

Good start trooper. I do recommend that during any test fitting you wear undersuit just to be sure. I found a slight fit difference (tighter) with bare skin vs undershirt. Your mileage may vary of course.

I didn't wear TK. So that doesn't belong here. I did post it as a Fireteam troop though.Winterfest? hehe -
My man STEVE!! Congrats !!! Soon to be Another Centurion in town!!!

Welcome aboard future trooper. Reach out to me via PM and I can connect you with another Winnipeg trooper and other Canadian Garrison members (we're far reaching).

My son begged for armour but they grow too fast. A month after finishing robes they had already started outgrowing them. I have to sew new ones before Fan Expo in August. I don't want to do it too early or else I'll be in same boat as now.
