  4. Thanks trooper Tom I'm 5 ' 9" 190 35" waist I have. 5/8 cover strips on the arms and theyre a little tight around the biceps the ab and kidney plates I trimmed at least an inch maybe two on all sides I would think it could possibly fit a 40" waist with out shims. 5. Good stuff thanks for the tips Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Thanks rtt Gazmosis the cover strips are 30mm. I needed the extra room for the shins to fit and maintain the 20mm front strips so I opted to make the backs larger in doing so I made the rear of the thighs 30mm as well to keep it uniform with the calf strips, is that ok? 14. I bought this brand off eBay they are a little thin in my opinion and don't compress as much as my champions they are black but for some reason the seem to have a gold shine to them Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I can't attest to my Tk bucket yet cause it's not finished yet but I have a tie , mando and my wife's scout to talk about. First the tie I For padding I have used a hardhat rig which I removed cause it gave me a headache I replaced it with padding and it's much better nice firm fit and doesn't make much of a heat difference. Fans are a must in my opinion not as much for cooling as it is to combat lens fogging. I have two fans one that is on my face and the other on the lens. As for comm yes I have it the fans love it and i t adds realism so your not a muffled yelling voice in a helmet, one step further I also have environmental hearing so I can clearly hear all the kids that I'm stepping on lol. The mando has minimal foam padding and is the warmest beCause of the face sheild and zero ventilation the fan is up above pointing down across the lens and pushing hot air out the bottom . Amp and hearing again. The scout also is the same situation as the mando with fans she has an amp My Tk I plan to do military pads with all the electronics Hope that helps Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  18. The shin rear covers are 1 and a quarter inch I made the thighs the same to match fronts are 7/8 the shins were a tight squeeze with my ankles and to get the Velcro functional covered up I had to go that size the covers also line up with the ridges . I think it looks better in person than in the pic Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. test fit with the legs . Everything is just floating no straps
  20. got the shins together and had to take a test walk around the block I found some uncomfortable rubs which i trimed down after my test here are some pics my wife took. Sorry for the low light it was late and I was excited. And yes I still need to add the sniper plate

  23. So i know its been a while since I have posted any progress besides real life I was sick as a dog ,the kids shared a nice bug with me. So now that I'm felling better and received the last of my parts ie the under suit I am busy back at it. The thighs are sized shins are together but, here is my question . The sniper plate how is it trimmed at the bottom is it to sit flush against the shin or will there be some off set ? I will post some pics later.
  24. Its could be the angle of the pic cause I cant really remove much more
