    So I painted my mic tips with a gloss black. Is this ok? Do I need to paint over it with a flat black?

    Alright, thank you! I did wash off the chemicals on the inside and I still get these results. I will try and use primer and do many thin layers.

    Alright, I have been using this Rust-Oleum on the inside of ear pieces (for testing purposes) before I start spraying the inside of the helmet. When the paint drys, it turns out really bad. Am I applying this paint correctly or should I be using different paint and how would I apply it?

    Does the inside get painted black too (behind the metal mesh)?

    Really quick, what about painting them? Is there a certain way to paint the hovi mic tips? It looks like to top rim of the mics are painted silver or something.

    According to the CRL, for Expert Infantry, my helmet needs to have the "Correct 'Hovi mic' aerator tips". What are "Correct 'Hovi mic' aerator tips"? Thanks for helping!

    I am starting my very first build and had a quick question about the ammo belt. How do I get it to curve? I feel like when I bend it a little, it is going to snap and break! How do other troopers make the plastic portion of the belt curve to their body? Thanks!

    Thank you all! This really helps!!! I also am taking the time to look up new information and book mark it! I am still waiting for my holster, I got my gloves yesterday, and get my TK Boots on Friday!!!
