ok well, do you use a special kind of paint????? because some peoples grey frowns look really really shiny!!!! i'm a TX so my frown is Silver, but i did primer it though!!!!!

did you use anything to coat your silver frown??????

is there any gloss finish or enamel to protect spray paint on the frowns???? thanks!!!!

seriously....i just finished my helmet pretty much....first time doing anything like this...kind of hard for me actually...i've never owned a tool in my life!!!!!! same armor too!!!!! the people at the other special ops board never respond...lol...THIS board is awesome!!!!!!

i might have to try it... a little is on my helmet dome....that's why!!!!!

Does anyone know of anything that will get devcon off od aromor plastic without ruining it? Or am i screwed??? Help!!!!

when i piece together my lid for taping up/preping...it doesn't go all the way around, like it's not round!!!!! it's very wide and it seem like the dome would better fit sideways...lol!!!!! how can i fix this???? it's almost as if the two helmet pieces are too flat, not roundish....make sense?????

i just got a TX Shadow FX kit, and i'm not the biggest guy, as far as muscle...but i do have an athletic build and a little beer belly...lol!!!! 22 year old who likes to have fun!!!!!! straight out of the box, the bicep pieces just barely fit, if i bend my arm it'll bust open!!!!! same for the quads and maybe even the forearms!!!! i'm 6'0''200lbs. Shimming is def. a must for me!!!! hope that helps...FX is pretty slim but can be adjusted to for a better feel!!!! hope that helps!!!! this is my first kit, so i thought i'd start with a simple FX kit!!!! when i move on to the white armor, i'll go more movie accurate!!!!!

yeah, i think the rubber washers just threw me off or something!!!!!! i think i'll just toss them out then, thanks!!!! another question, how much trimming for the sides of the helmet has to be done to fit both the front and back pieces together????

Maybe i'm just lame, but the FX instruction kit is not helping me with the aerator mic tips!!!!! how do i build them and where do the rubber washers go in....i have 4 washers!!!!!! anyone advice/pics????? thanks!!!!!
