  1. Sounds great! Please let me know anything YOU know. So i can build my own flamethrower before CE II .
  2. Yeah! Go Red! Starting with the helmet ist allways a good idea. If you head for Legion approval only, an efx might be a good choice. The helmet is quite inexpensive and good to wear, even on an 8-hour-troop. But as said before: The efx helmet needs to be a little modified for approval. But all the modifications can be done quite easily. I don't like the shape and size of the FX bucket, so I would not recommend it.
  3. I had quite a few troops since being an official Incinerator Trooper for the 501st Legion. Here's a few pictures of me trooping our latest event - the Star Wars Day @ MoviePark Germany 2012 aaaaaand:
  4. As the topic is saying, I want to ask if someone could give me a parts list to build my own Plasma Rifle/Flamethrower for my INC costume. I wanted to buy one ( asked in the trading area) but no one replied. And I also believe, it might cause trouble when sending "weapons" or props like this to Germany (don't really know).
  5. As I told you on facebook, I'm watching your progress with great interest.
  6. Thanks,Jarred. Can someone tell me how to build a plasma rifle (flamethower) or where I can buy one? Does someone here build and sell those rifles? Please let me know.
  7. THANK YOU! Now it's official: I am TK 9461 and the very first Incinerator in Germany! Yeah!!
  8. PLease eanable me for 501st status/ access. My ID is TK 9461. http://www.501st.com/members/displaymemberdetails.php?userID=14254
  9. Yesterday, I had an email in my mailbox: My costume is accepted and I am a member of the 501st Legion now!!!! All I have to do now is waiting for my TK ID.
  10. Thank you and thanks to everyone else. I'm still waiting for my "approval message" and my TK ID. So keep crossing your fingers for me. I will do a flamethrower, yes. But the weapon threads are full of completely built flamethrowers. What i need is a "HOW TO build your own Plasma rifle" Thread or a Sale thread. So, if anyone can help, please let me know.
  11. Here are some pictures of me wearing my ICN armor. I was supporting our local Garrison during the "Movie Days" where I had the chance to meet Dave "Darth Vader" Prowse.
  12. Thank you! What I'l need in the future is a plasma rifle/flamethrower...
  13. Thanks! In the beginning, when I started the Stormtrooper project, there was no intention to become a member of the 501st Legion. It was just a "fun project". So, the decision to finally go for a "Incinerator Trooper" wasn't so hard to make. And yes, I was a little nervous when i pushed the button of my red spray can for the first time And I know now, that i made the right decision. I love my ICN!
  14. Thanks Steve! As I told you, you have allways been a great help on my way to my Incinerator Trooper. It's stated in the CRL for the ICN that the pauldron must be just RED for Legion membership. I couldnt find a lighter pauldron so I spray-painted it with a red leather paint. The special leather paint keeps the pauldron leather smooth and flexible and doesn't "break" and chip when moving. Edit: membership application is on its way! *crossing fingers*
  15. I am on my way, brothers I made a lot of changes and updates on my Incinerator. You can find the latest picture in my INC thread.
  16. Here you can see all the updates on my INCINERATOR: - I removed the thigh pouches and added the ammo pouches on my shoulder - the pauldron has been replaced by a RED one now - I also modified the belt. The outer edges have been cut to make the belt look better (and make it more comfortabel ) - drop boxes have been painted GREY Axel
  17. Danke für die kurze Info, ich versuche nämlich auch bereits seit Tagen, die Seite zu öffnen, aber "nix tut sich"...
  18. Thanks everyone! Your comments really push me forward. Mason, thanks for your illustration. Most of the things, you suggested, have already been done in the last 2 days. Pictures will follow soon...
  19. Thanks Mason, your tutorial seems to be perfect for someone like me i have one question though: Could you include the dimensions of the woodsticks in the template? Otherwise, I'll need the size of the 3 main pockets, the small pocket and the overall size of the pouch in centimeters or millimeters. is it possible for you to do this? Here is a small illustration about what i have and what i need (please correct, if needed): Thanks!
  20. Here is,as promised in my introduction thread, my INCINERATOR thread. THIS is how everything started: But after some troops in my Stormtrooper costume, I decided to go for a INCINERATOR and started to mask off the required areas,so i could spray paint the patterns on the armor parts, Here are some of my WIP pictures: And here, after finishing the paint job, the fully painted costume: And here a few pictures of last weekend's outdoor photo shooting: And on the following picture, you can see the obvious things that need to be changed: So, things that obviously need to be changed are: - my black pauldron has to be changed for a red one - no thigh pouches but the "sandtrooper pouches" on the left shoulder ( ordered yesterday) - there is a tiny black stripe on my belt on the pictures. It was a stripe of sticky velcro, which i have removed after the pictures were taken. - the buttons on the torso plate need to be inverted - the drop boxes must be grey ( I painted them grey and re-arranged them after the pictures were taken) So, constructive critics and comments are very welcome and i hope to be one the new Incinerator troopers, soon... Axel
