  2. I'm helping my sister with her build and I've got a question about the snaps and rivets. I found Kev's photo in the Jes Gistang research thread and it looks like the snaps and rivets were added to the ab and kidney plate. But when I look at the CRL it only says to add them to the ab plate. I've looked at other build threads and photos of these two plates that show the snaps and rivets are hard to come by. The few that I've found seem to follow this pattern. Is this approvable? Or should I glue snap plates inside of the kidney plate and only add the snaps and rivets to the ab plate?
  3. Also curious if these would pass if the tag was removed and a strip added. Anyone have any feedback on these boots? Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
  4. Do you still have a link to that eBay vendor/seller you got your boots from? I'm trying to help my sister build her kit and ever link I find here is either broken or the seller is out of stock. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
  5. Another married with 2 kids TK hopeful here. Welcome aboard!!!
  6. You're in a great place to start working on your TK. There's lots of good info here!
  7. Greetings troopers!!! My name is Mike and I'm a member of the New England Garrison. I've been a Legion member for a little more than 2 years now with an Imperial Crewman and have (slowly) been working on a few different costumes over the years. Currently I'm working on a Deathwatch (Mandalorian) grunt from the Clone Wars series. Originally I was just in the market for a Stormtrooper helmet to have as a display and eventually add on the armor to submit for a TK. After doing a little research I decided to take the plunge and jump into the FISD ranks now. I'm working on an ANH-stunt Stormie and have already got my name on a list for a great looking kit. I've checked out the EIB requirements and will definately be keeping those in mind as I assemble the armor. I'm really looking forward to getting suited up and trooping in something other than my comfy coveralls .
