  1. i'm a little embarrassed to say that i purchased a "recast"... because i didn't discover this awesome site at the time, but i do have to admit that VT looks really good. i'm just a wookie, so i can't speak from experience, but the details look good and "size" symmetry is great. i think it's much better than those FX brands (which have huge helmets...)! and it's made of ABS! which is much better than ps plastic.... at least me thinks. not sure which VT is made from. anyone know?
  2. used E6000 on mine... i'm just a wookie builder however.
  3. haa haa, yeah, i asked the same question when i was in the same stage on my helmet build. wonky ftw
  4. Yay, got mine! Not as protective as my Supertech R, mind, but super comfy and light! Only took two days too! Very good seller. Shweet
  5. ah, that's just brilliant, mate!! thanks, i'll use this advice! great, thank you so much!
  6. good idear! thanks. (question for anyone) does it matter what type of white primer? doesn't some spray paint harm ABS plastic? thanks
  7. is "Plastic Underlining" a brand? couldn't find that on search... thanks
  8. what reference or guide do you use to draw the 's' cutting line for the cap n back, please? i can't "picture" this part... and does the forehead line always align with the bottom of the trapezoid for the cut line? thanks
