Hey fellas, Been a long time since I've been on here and I'm helping my brother with his new AP build. Anywho, Trooperbay is a new resource that wasn't around back when I did my build and I was curious about their E-11 kit. Is it accurate and/or a decent build? I scraped and searched in the forum and couldn't dig up anything. Would appreciate any help!

I actually didn't snap it to my body. I connected a snap from the breast plate to the back plate over each shoulder. It held up just great for my first troop! -

Here's some quick last minute check pics. I'll put up more detailed ones after tomorrow's troop! -

Almost all done, have some minor adjustments and then Saturday is my first troop! So the pics from that will most likely be my completed pics. -
Another newbie asking about armor
Snooper Trooper replied to MetalHead's topic in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
I'm 6'3" and about 215. I went with RT Mod and it fits fantastic in most places. There are things you can do to help "fill" in places, like I had to, aside from just trimming it down. -

Thanks! And I appreciate the advice very much, that's why I post here! The biceps and forearms are actually not strapped yet, so they are just hanging on my arms. My intention is to have the bicep a bit higher than either of them are. And then have the forearms lined up correctly. -

Snooper Trooper RT Mod Build

Got a prelim on the upper body. I need to tighten the arms up a bit and put some snaps for the side of the cod/butt, otherwise I'm pretty happy with it. -

Well I smeared them a bit on purpose to try and give the worn look like in the screenies. But, those are the correct colors, I think the flash and lighting threw them off a bit. -

Got almost all of my snaps done. Came up short a few so making one last run for some and the jeans rivets for the side. Gonna start fitting tomorrow! Got my ab plate painted too. -

Snooper Trooper RT Mod Build

So update time Got my correct lenses Almost everything that needs to be is glued Right shin is gonna need a little touch up. I'm hoping to start strapping this or next week. I'm still just really scared of drilling holes in the side of my armor and still not sure of what to use when securing it. When I get that close I'm just gonna go for it! -
Looks awesome man! Can't wait until we both get ours done!

So for those of you under a rock there is a HUGE mmorpg coming out this year called Star Wars The Old Republic. For those of you who are going to play or are interested in playing, they have launched a program that let's players form guilds ahead of launch. The ones that meet certain requirements will be inserted at launch. So, a bunch of friends and family, including one other trooper here, have formed and registered a guild on the site. If anyone is interested in playing with some other troopers as well as a very talkative and friendly group of people I'd like to extend an invitation to you! All you have to do is register on the main site and then join up with our guild here. Hope to see you on there as well!

Snooper Trooper RT Mod Build

Got my bucket mic tips, all done. -
Yeah I lit up my helm like in the application requests. So now, I just have to figure out the belt and ab plate. I guess I can just throw some pictures up and see if someone can fill me in.

So I'm starting on my RT Mod build and I had a few questions on pieces that might or not might be EI ready. There are three pieces I'm wondering about from reading about others builds. The lenses that come with the RT helm, the belt and the ab buttons. These are pieces I have either seen someone get a different version of or modify in some way. I can always post pics if some of the officers just want to tell me if they haven't seen it before. Thanks guys!

Snooper Trooper RT Mod Build

Decided on the MKII Doopydoo conversion. And the rest of my pieces are already on the way. Rob did an awesome job! Totally recommend for anyone else who is considering RT Mod. -
So I have taken delivery on the majority of my armor. As I was going through it I found the back plate was missing but, I've let Rob know and I'm sure it won't be an issue. He's great and thanks for all the supplier info! I have almost everything I need for a complete build. Armor, TK boots, gloves, holster, under armor, Hasbro Blaster. I just need to decide which person to buy the E-11 conversion from and I'll be all set. My neck seal is also ordered and paid for, just waiting to take delivery. Here's the initial reaction and layout of almost everything. My Hovi mic tips will be inbound shortly also. I'm most likely going to start from the ground up for lack of the back plate. Wish me luck and I'll keep ya posted!
