  1. And if you look closely, Vader is wearing the same chest armor as the Bounty Hunter the same guy is selling: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bounty-Hunter-Costume-hand-Made-1979-/130656922821?pt=US_Costumes&hash=item1e6bc26cc5 I have to get some of those shorts
  2. Agreed, on a second look, I am thinking it is just how the return edge was rendered. Awesome saber pics as well... Thanks man.
  3. I was looking at these pictures again, and it appears that the tops of the biceps and thighs have the same molding trim as the chest, back, etc. Does anyone else see this?
  4. We would have to keep track of it here, and hope that all FISD bidders see this post. He has the listing set up as private, so we can not see who is bidding, but there is one bid on it now for $9.99.
  5. I ordered my pair of 11s on the 5th and I got them today. They look like great quality, and fit as i expected. The color and sheen of the leather seems spot on as well. Overall, I am very pleased with his communication and product. I would buy from him again... These boots are truly awesome.
  6. Looking good man! What did you use for the piping on the edges of the armor, and I am guessing that you had to cut off the return edge to install it right?
  7. Woohoo... I got home today to a nice large box on my porch! The build is starting this weekend! I was going to just sport the FX helmet for a while, but as soon as I saw it, I decided to make it a Sandy display, and I just bought a CAP, lol.
  8. In the picture of the TD, It is clear that the back of the drop boxes are white, but the sides look to be medium grey or charcoal. I am thinking more medium grey as they do not look as dark as the ICN. It also does not look like the black from the undersuit in the same shot, and if you look at the skin on the TD, there is grey on it, but on the screenshot, those areas look black. This leads me to believe that it is a touch lighter than the grey on the TD... But that could also be just a shadow. hmmn.
  9. Yeah... And being able to have complete mobility in armor...But for real life, figuring out how to make your shoulder plates float away from your shoulders may be tough My armor comes in tomorrow, and I have already printed off these shots! Build thread incoming soon! Again, thanks for posting these, Mason.
  10. Whoah... good timing on these Mason. I will be printing these off shortly for my build. Edit: Are there only 6 teeth cut out on the helmet, or am I missing two?
  11. Oh, don't worry;). I have read that one many times...
  12. Thanks! The good thing is that it looks like I did understand reading through the CRLs... The bad news is that I have a lot of work ahead, but it will be fun at least! To a new guy here, the requirements can seem a but daunting. I will be starting up a WIP thread soonish, but having two small children, the updates will be slow. I currently have the parts to build an ANH E11, but it should not be to hard to convert it;) Will and Sean's armor are what inspired me to go this route for my first 501st build, and I will be visiting their builds regularly. Thanks again!
  13. Hi all. I am new around here and just posted my intro thread. I really like the look of the TK commander, and had a couple of questions as my end goal is to get my EIB status. I figured with that as my goal, I should build my armor with that in mind instead of reworking it later. I have a set of AM armor on the way, and I know that I will have to replace that lid to bceome EIB. I had a couple of questions to make sure I am understanding the CRL. It appears that the video game reference is the only style you can gain EIB status on now, correct? So that means that I will need to build the base armor in ROTJ style, but use the ANH Stunt holster, helmet, and hand guards. What about the E-11 itself? Is any version ok? Also, the main differences I see from ANH Stunt to ROTJ is that the Ab and Back pieces are not shimmed together, There is molding on the ab, chest, back, butt, and cod, the ab piece is upside down, the butt and kidney are not split apart, no bicep straps for shoulder bells, and the shoulder straps are different. Am I missing anything? Can the butt and kidney be separated for mobility and joined tightly together with straps, or do they have to be one solid piece? Thanks, and I am sorry for all of the questions, but want to make sure I am on the right page.
