  1. I just wanna say your build looks like it is coming along swimmingly!
  2. It comes out to about 2-3GBs if i remember correctly, there is a utility out there that I used that will download an entire flickr users pictures in the highest resolution. It took me a day to get his all downloaded and the stormtroopers were at the end, i think I pulled down 5-7GB of pictures, this was a while ago so I don't remember details.
  3. On a secondary note to this topic I also have all of the stormtrooper day/year off in max resolution which I can find a host to upload to if you are interested in a great wallpaper cycle. Here is the set which alternatively you can download yourself.
  4. Thanks, his invasion scenes are great I never actually knew it was the same person. I also have a few more quality walls I will post later once I get them offloaded from my PC.
  5. Here is a nifty I found, I will try to update this as much as possible with the rest I run into from time to time.
  6. Here I hope this link helps. This guide didn't used to be here but I believe its helped a lot of new troopers out. http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=11538
  7. According to TupperwareTK it does have a slightly revised dome. I emailed him asking the progress of a complete redesign and he currently is working on other projects. While it looks just slightly better, it is still the same size/bulk as the older FX style.
  8. I haven't replied here in a while, just wanted to briefly mention I am 189 today. that's down from 215 about 3 months ago when I first joined FISD. I have been only dieting meaning proper meals, proper spacing, and frequency of eating also plenty of water (I try to go for 2x Nalgene bottles a day which is 64 ounces or 8 glasses) I have been only dieting for fear of loosing too much weight too fast, I want my skin to adjust naturally being that I have been 205-210 for the last 4+ years of my life. This week I am going to start light exercise such as push-ups, sit ups, jumping jacks etc. Next week I plan to hit the gym and get back to 20-30 minutes of dreadmill cardio. I will post my results! Thanks for tuning in to my post
  9. I typically post there but it doesn't specifically mention or say off-topic. Just General discussion which I understand to be tk/costume/star wars related.
  10. When I first started looking at TK armors I visited here but found links to be broken on the main site and everything else is almost posted in a forum standard anyway. I was thinking it might be a good idea to just drop the front page or at least keep it a simple "Enter" page and then forward over to forums where most if not all content is stored. I could be wrong and haven't fully viewed each link on the main page. Again just a thought I would actually love to hear what other people think about this as well as the Off Topic forum addition thread I made earlier.
  11. Could we get an off-topic forum? I find myself frequently looking at white armor 5-6 times a day while at work and sometimes there is just stuff I would love to share/post/chat about that could be considered not TK or even Star Wars related. I feel like having such an addition would allow more members to get to know each other personally instead of just asking for advice all the time or giving advice all the time, sort of a chance to relax. Obviously we would keep to the same rules and all topics would be socially acceptable. Just a thought.
  12. Excellent work, though this gives me flashbacks of making Quake 2 skins...
  13. Haha luckily on my cheapo Starter gear the silverish logos just fell right off.
  14. Got mine from walmart.com but the compression pants are no longer avail, getting hard to find out of season. Very inexpensive though, although kind snags easily if you have sharp points in your armor. here was my order, Starter - Men's Basic Compression Pants; Color: Rich Black $8.00 Starter - Men's Long-Sleeve Performance Compression Tee $10.00
  15. Panda, this is why I love you. Stay tuned I am gonna start a build thread I think
  16. I forgot how hilarious this movie is! I want to make a lord/dark helmet costume. Any ideas?
  17. I cant stop giggling at work, this is cracking me up. Had to share.
  18. I went ahead and picked up a VT bucket kit on ebay. I will let you know how well it looks against my AM armor.
  19. I hear a lot of people using these kevlar helmet pads. Is 1" too thick? Would anyone suggest these are ok? All one pattern, comes in a 20 pack on this listing, will have several left over. http://cgi.ebay.com/PASGT-ACH-MICH-Kevlar-helmet-1inch-Pad-lot-20-NEW-/390137123867?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5ad5fc141b
  20. Recieved my TKboots today. AMAZING. I look incredible wearing them in just street clothes. I walked around the house for hours and it was definitely easy to walk with. I did get a slight rub on one of my pinky toes but I am also wearing very very thin socks. A+ these things rock, and they smell like new car leather!
  21. I just received a replacement part from my Tupperware TK AM kit. At the same time I ordered my boots from TKboots.com. Both arrived today, both from the same originating address. I also want to address this since my inbox has been hot lately. If you are seeking a replacement part just remember that I cannot guarantee it can be done, nor do I want to indicate that replacement parts are available. If you are in need of a replacement I suggest emailing Tupperware accordingly using the email address associated with your original purchase, and asking him if your part can be done and also to make sure you get pricing up front so that you may get the most accurate response.
