Wow Thanks guys! I cut, sanded, dremmeled, glued, painted and bled a few times while building this Everything except the blaster, which is a MR.

After well over a year, I am finally close enough to feel comfortable posting my AP armor build/assembly. I will soon be submitting for New Hope Stunt EIB. I have trooped in it twice now, and only have one current shot of me wearing the full suit. Here are some various shots. Critique and tips are welcome (of course )

41 going on 21! Seems like yesterday I saw Star Wars opening day (but then I look around and see my Farrah Fawcett-Majors poster is yellowed, my wacky package stickers show items no longer made and my bottle of "Hai" Karate after shave lotion has dried out !)

Ok... I feel like "duh"! Thanks man! I really appreciate this! As for the MR, I do know it's heavy. I trooped with mine for over a year, and I got used to the weight after a while. I still want to use it after I complete my new armor, but now it looks like I got some modding to do first. Thanks again!

Ok. I know to do a search before asking a question to see if it has been answered, and I did for this, but can not find an answer. I have an MR and am curious to know, is the MR E-11 blaster acceptable for ANH elite status? I see that part of the status is the "hengstler" counter. The MR does not have this. If there is a way to add one to the blaster, would it then be acceptable? (Sorry if this has been discussed before and I missed it. ) Thanks!

How old were you? 11 What year? 1977 What movie theater (if you can remember)? Theater In The Mall What city? Wilkes Barre PA Any other interesting info surrounding your first "experience?" I didn't even WANT to see it! My Uncle was a huge Sci-Fi nut, and he took me opening day. We waited in line for hours, and I was so mad that I didn't even care if I saw or it not. Basically I threw an 11 year old temper tantrum. My Uncle was ready to back hand me a couple times! Obviously, I got through it and needless to say, like so many others back in the Summer Of 77, I was hooked! My collecting also started that day. After it was over, the theater had tables set up in the lobby with a program, a newspaper, a pin and a poster. My Uncle bought one of each for us, and I still have them. My collection has continued ever since!
