i honestly dont think it would matter . as i'd just be told ok it's cleared but you cant troop or they'd make the experience crap. i have given up on the garrison at the moment and looking at other non 501st groups i'm afraid..

i have tried everything the LMO said it's ok but local gml still says not without a bazooka!!! where is the rank structure when u need it lol

i've pretty much given up!! i cant be bothered with the hassle as long as i only want to troop as a standard tk i'll have no problems which from now on is all i'll do. . when i question stuff i just get told but you shouldnt aim for just passing the crl'l you should aim to be the best. but a pass is still a pass .... i agree in a way but once i was cleared i could work on making it the best not every one has unlimited funds or time i'd like to troop in a costume not spend 3 years building it then get told no anyway

i have the same problem with chest plates lol sucks to be short but well done commander..

apparently thr gml never sends it up to the lmo. the lmo has seen the costume and said ok but my garrison still said no therefore i would not be able to troop in said costume..

ok to clarify my point i am not saying anyone person is at fault. i agree we need high standards but i aslo want the command structure is to be upheld eg: surely if the LMO says that would be ok then the GML has to abide or challenge the LMO directly. not just tell the member no sorry. surely there should be communication between the LMO and GML as i understood the EU costumes are supposed to be passed up to the LMO for clearance. if the GML has a valid point then the LMO can change the CRL requirements.. use the chain of command guys

just remember to check with your local GML before you start ( well that makes no difference as they'll change their mind at will ) no being serious check first to save yourself a lot of money and heartache. it's easy putting the red on not so easy to remove it if they say no <_<

i Know that and i respect that we have a chain of command just as i respect the high standards of the UK Garrison afte all it's why i joined but... i was under the impression ( correct me if i'm wrong please) that EU costumes were just passed on to the LMO for decision by the local GML! if this is true then the Local GML has to abide by the LMO ( i understand that we need high quality and wouldnt complain if i'd tried to pass off a second rate costume.)but it wasn't

it takes guts and not everyone will like it but if you do go for it

ha ha ha mate you know the problems i have with the ukg gml he has just told me no flamer no clear lol ( but thats a given its an incinerator trooper i expected that one) oh and i have to modify the pauldron to come down my arm similar to the game ref's when are the 501st lmo's going to take control of their garrison gml's

i'm away for most of december so going to have a serious think about it . i've contacted my gml and he said so far its a goer and would be first in uk ( same as my commander) but i'll contact you around xmas if thats ok and we can talk about it then..

i know it a little childish lol but it's a principle to me, it was given the thumbs up by the 501st but my garrison said not without a bazooka it got very messy, i was gutted, had a hyperfirm T21 spent a fortune on the costume. i may make one but i'm in no rush now

the police here have a fit when kids are playing soldiers in the street lol. seriously thinking of going red then i'd have a red a white and a blue lol been a little off recently with the uk garrison rules, and them refusing to clear my HWT without a bazooka. but regained some enthusiasm and love the odder tk variants.

i've seen your other ones mate they look very nice i'd possibly be interested in a template set. i have a few ideas on how to make one would like one that has a real pilot flame on front but health and safety would go mental in this country lol..

that makes it an easy costume then wont be hard to make a flamer .

that does look cool tho. could have sworn i saw them with a pack somewhere lol cause they must have something to power the flamer.. and only one ammo pouch??

well just sold my pride and joy a gorgeous hyperfirm T21 as my garrison wont let me troop as a HWT with it !! still cant decide whether to build a bazooka to make them happy or may even go Incinerator Trooper! but i know they'll want a damn flamethrower then

Incinerator Troopers do they have back packs??

i did the trim thing to start with and didnt like it i prefer the non trimmed armour when weathered looks far better.... but thats my opinion lol

sorry i must have misread the eib i never realised i'm just tweaking my helmet and a couple of bits and will put in for eib status then

looks good to me i love being commander cant be the crl dummy tho he's not eib standard (np trim around the edge of the armour ROTJ style)
