Amptrooper

I talked Albin and he said his original idea was similar to mine. Cool guy! He shared tips on walking in the suit with the prosthetic. I am showing mine so that the kids can see it and see that you can still do what you want. Limb loss does not equal life loss. Besides, a kid who is going to amputated or just got amputated or has a parent coming home missing a limb, the Amptrooper is going to add a touch of "cool" to it. When that parent comes home they are going to think it is cool that Mommy or Daddy has a leg like the Amptrooper or a cool arm! Or they may think, if the Amptrooper can do it I can do it too! That is why I want my leg to show. Not to say that Albin should. This is what I feel my calling is. He is doing a great thing as it is with the 501st and does not make the focus about his amputation. He shows the same thing that I am trying to show the kids just in a different way. You see him out there doing the things that everyone else is doing in the 501st and you don't know he is an amputee. Then maybe you see him later that day not in costume and you see he is. Just that says a lot to people! God bless!

Hey Y'all! As some of you know I am an amputee. My right leg was amputated. So, I really don't want to go out and buy two boots. My Amptrooper costume is going to leave the prosthetic fully exposed so that he kids in the hospital can see it without a doubt. If anyone has a size 11 left boot I would love for them to send me a PM! Strange I know but, it is what I need to get the job done! Also, does anyone know if Not having a right TK leg will make problems for my application to the 501st? God bless!

That sucks too! There is just not a lot if any one stop Stormtrooper shops that is worth a darn. You got recasts or rapists. So, with that being said.... Not sure I can post this and if not I am sure I will be informed and this will be removed. I have a webstie that I am starting and it is a one stop Star Wars prop shop. So far there is me (saber smith) a leather worker, a costume maker, custom lightsaber accessory maker and a Lightsaber Bling Strip maker. A powder coating/ saber smith is soon to come and hopeful a Stormtrooper armorer. I don't know what the legalities of making and selling Stormtrooper armor is but will be checking. So, I wa checking out things on e-bay and came across this. I know pictures can be very misleading. But everything to my untrained eyes looks to be on the up and up. The seller is called Jedi-Robe. I am carving my TK pumpkin tomorrow. If I don't mess it up I'll post some pictures! I can't wait to see it! My son did Jabba the Hutt! He is 7. I'll post that too. God bless!

I never heard of the rank by ear marks! Ha, ear marks! Still plenty of that going on! Is this true about an ear mark ranking system? Does not sound right to me. So, I take it that for the most part regular TK are for space such as ships and Death Stars etc. TD's and others are ground troops! Would that be a fair assumption? Now, out side of the 501st evens and pictures you can do what you want and have fun with it. If it is for the 501st you should remain accurate right?

Okay, I have used the search to see if this as been discussed and I couldn't find it if it has. It seems to me that in the movies the pualdron is only really used when Stormtroopers are out in public as a way for others to recognize their rank. How they know rank with out them I don't know. Maybe there is something in their helmet that tells them. A visual marker only seen through the helmet or something audio. Any info on this? God bless!
