  1. First off, i want to say that i do appreciate what FISD staff does to better this detachment. I too find it stressful at times and with some pressure from others since i am also GEC for my garrison. Its a selfless role and i agree. I get it. You and i and a bunch of others want people to be more accurate. So with that said, i hope you don't feel that im poking at you. Second of all. I think it is unfair to people when they are building centurion and you might throw in "boots need to be weathered" as an example. If something isnt in the CRL requirements, then why mention it? People and new members would be confused. If people strive to be movie accurate down to the little string, then maybe we should raise the centurion standards? I love movie accuracy and i wish everyone did. But putting certain rules that dont qualify in the CRL make people just downright confused. If i had my choice (which i don't and is impossible) that centurion standards should just be movie accurate. Original straps, snaps and all. Dont get me wrong. I was never poking fun. I was just trying to state issues. I personally don't agree that just one DO monitor this. It should be 2 at least if people want to be picky and get to the nitty gritty.
  2. I also think if people are going to bicker, then we should all change the rules of centurion to just movie accurate. Strapping system and every single screw, nut size, painted boots. I like how some centurions dont even have correct snaps or even use snap plates and they still get a pass. This hobby should be fun and we all should strive for accuacy.
  3. I think if people are going to make up rules as they go, the CRL for centurion should be updated. People are worried about the smallest details and not every centurion or even EIB is held for the same reasons. Also new applicants get unsure because of threads like this or because people chime in and give "suggestions". I mentioned real sterling and "scuffed boots" and someone already thinks its needed.
  4. Good thing you have original strapping style. Because if you had snap plates, thats not accuracy.
  5. Im on the fence now. Boots too clean. Not painted johdpurs. Oh also blaster is not real Centurion equipped sterling.
  6. Yes i know of this rule. I was just implying that others with the same holster strap width have passed.
  7. Mine arent even tan. Haha http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/18110-tk9512-requesting-anh-centurion-status-24tm/
  8. Correct. The holster strap width isnt even mentioned in Centurion CRL. please keep in mind this same exact suit has been approved for EIB and Centurion already. Literally the plastic just swapped hands and went to my dear friend. No alterations have been done. Even for Centurion, this suit should already pass.
  9. Hey look. Exact same armor, just a different human. Not to sound rude, but i dont see the difference with Benders armor and all the other RS built EIB and Centurion applicants. Since the same people built it. Just sayin.
  10. And here is CENTURION. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/23490-tk-5224-requesting-anh-stunt-centurion-status-rs/ Same armor btw.
  11. Its kinda funny cause to be honest, Bender here should have been approved. He bought the armor from me. But original owner is EIB WITH SAME armor. Approved here. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/23482-tk-5224-requesting-anh-stunt-eib-status-rs-2nd/
  12. That looks amazing. I like how everything looks like it has a good thickness to it. Amazing work Juan!
  13. For us in the bay area, mostly LFL, TV, bigger events like course of the force for example. Those are canon. If its like a bday or just to give an illusion, then doesnt really matter. I have worn my shadow ops (not approved) on events when i ask for permission from my CO and he usually gives the OK. To be honest though, i rarely wear it since its not canon.
  14. Looks spot on to me but your rex still looks better. HAHA. Centurion too!!!
