  1. So nice to see ANH helmets finally used again. It adds some authenticity and an edge to trooper helmets
  2. Saw the clip regarding the storm trooper. I like the fact they tried to improve it, but the stunt helmet they showed from the archive has been burned into my brain since childhood that all others just look wrong regardless of how "better" they are. I'm just glad Battlefront used the archive helmet as their reference when creating storm troopers for the game. They look right and adds to the realism of it all.
  3. Hmm. I only care about the buckets. Can you have the helmets on the same pic side by side?

I understand that the armor has to be more flexible due to more of the physical fight sequences so I can forgive that. What I don't understand is why they couldn't just source some anovos or RS buckets to get the look right. Oh wellz
  5. Here is a close up of the armor. To me it didn't look screen used but what do I know. -----------
  6. Nice. Though looking at their website the eye sockets don't look right compared to what was at the exhibit. Hopefully the ones on display are the final product
  7. Definitely not screen used or used at all. They're brand new. No markings or logos. The green eye film doesn't extend to the screw bolts so not SDS or RS. They're stunts so not the hero from EFX. Not sure where they're from. Maybe some of the experts on this forum can identify.
  8. I went to the Star Wars costume exhibition in Times Square recently and examined the helmets 6-7 or so that were on display. They were all new and not enclosed except for one. They don't seem to be SDS or RS but look pretty accurate. They look mass produced as well which was cool to see. If that's what they're using for RO, we should all be happy. Here are some pics vs my RS ------------
  9. Same. They don't respond but they deliver. Actions do speak louder tha words so I'm fine with it. They did include a Christmas card so that makes up for everything
  10. Yeah, I had to drill new holes for the brow adjustment which are under the ears. I made two temporary holes to get the helmet together and wasn't sure if I was going to like the adjustment so I just taped the ears back on for now. Hopefully the rest of the operation goes well
  11. Here's mine. I had to have a buddy ship it for me. The suit looks really nice as well as the helmet. I had to adjust the brow to match the sandtroopers to give it a more screen accurate look. Expensive but very nice. The armor is on a mannequin and is going to be put in my home theater room. For now he's in the junk room because my wife thinks he's creepy lol. This pic is from my blackberry so please excuse the
