Astroth Posted March 6, 2010 Author Report Posted March 6, 2010 (edited) So after a long wait for my glue ive finally started to glue the armor. Ive finished the biceps, forearms, and one shim. and of course the helmet. i still need to get some nylon straps for the ab parts and chest piece but i want to see if the tights are going to hold with the E6000. I am only going to glue the fronts of the pieces and Velcro the backs for easy wearing. here is a pic of some parts drying. ( its not my bed its the spare one in my computer room ) Edited March 6, 2010 by Astroth Quote

RogueTrooper[TK] Posted March 6, 2010 Report Posted March 6, 2010 Hey Jonny, It sounds like your have gotten a lot done I'm glad the glue's working for ya now I think you did a good job on the FX lid, but the frown has a little too much paint The frown should not come over or even touch the mouth only the teeth of the TK lid. Here are some real 1977 ANH lids to help you. . . . . Here are a couple of great examples of Fan Made lids: Jez's TE2 lid: SuperTrooper's ANH AP lid: It maybe the pix, but the gray that you used looks a little off. Here is the color chart, the frown is Humbrol 5 or Testor's 1138 : Quote
