TK5144[TK]
Trooper comm interface's web site has been down for a couple weeks or so. There was an online instruction manual. Does anyone have this saved that could be posted or emailed?
TK6716
This is part of a Email that I got from Patrick Barrett owner of TCI Still being make and sold Hello Robert, I own Barrett Products, in Portland, OR. We designed and manufacture the popular Trooper Comm Interface (TCI) product. We have now heard a rumor that "TCIs are no longer available". ...This is simply not true! One website has posted a notice to this effect, but it just means that they have apparently decided to stop carrying the TCI. ...We had no part in their (presumably financial) decision. As you may have guessed, we have a problem with our sales channel for this product. We are resolving the issue. Watch www.barrettproducts.com for exciting developments in the coming weeks. It is our policy to always do our best to deliver value to our Trooper Customers and we are extremely sorry that you have been affected! We wonder if other Troopers have experienced similar problems? If you can, please ask other Troopers with similar problems to contact us immediately! We will make every effort to ensure that if they purchase a TCI they are satisfied with their purchase. Also - please feel free to contact me directly with your thoughts and ideas. Regards, and May the Force be with you! pat Patrick H. Nassik
If this is the Trooper Comm Interface that was listed in the trade forum, that thread has been dead for nearly a year and the site is no longer there. --------- This thread prompted me to look for this thing and I found nothing but dust. Edited March 24, 2022 by gmrhodes13 link removed no longer working

scout trooper
Hey Troopers, I was just made aware of this thread. I'm TK1362 (Mike Lee) from the Florida Garrison. I contacted and paid Pat Barrett to design the TCI for me. I paid him thousands of dollars in design fees and as part of our original contract he was to provide me with the CAD files or design for the TCI. After years of hard work and promoting the TCI, PAT not only never provided me with the design files but has broken off relations with me and is stealing my hard work. I will be contacting a lawyer to get the designs and the money that he has never paid me! Pat has been keeping all the profits for himself. I have only ever received $100.00 dollars from Pat since the conception of the TCI. I sincerely ask that you don't purchase from PAT and give me time to regain control of my product. The TCI is a great product and I'm proud of it, but it is only the great product that it is because I was so strict on the standards and refused several earlier designs until it met my specifications. We have a great club and I know you wouldn't want something like this to happen to you, so please help me by not buying from Pat. Very Sincerely, Mike Lee TK1362 Scout Trooper
TK 6918[501st]
Wow Mike, I'm sorry to hear about that. Costuming and prop making definitely has a darker side to it
