GosHawk[501st] Posted August 25, 2009 Report Posted August 25, 2009 Hey all, Since I have been trying to sell some of my things. I've been contacted by a few people in Australia, I usualy try to ship fedex but their shipping is close to $70. USPS is about $40 for the 6-10 day delivery. These shipping costs are really high and lost a sale due to it. Does anyone know a cheaper way of sending packages over seas? Quote
TK-2126_MD[TK] Posted August 25, 2009 Report Posted August 25, 2009 USPS International If your in the states..... u could try EMS they do work with AU and from here (Bolivia) its around 30 bucks for 8-10 day..... Other then that its the normal international postage plus having them sign for the package. it really depends on were u live, i would go to your post office and have a talk about prices. u could also try a smaller shipping firm. One example i can give u is some Office rank bars i got 2-3 yr ago, inicially the guy check ups for Bolivia and the shipping was more then the bars. i ask him if he could/mind sending it USPS International or first class internatinal ( or some thing like that) he check and the shipping price was like 5-8 buck!!!!!! granded it took 20-25 days but hey. it really come down to if they want it fast or like RIGHT NOW!!!! the quicker more $$$$$ now if money is no option its FedEx,ups,DHL over night express ( 24-36 hr world wide!!!!) Gypsyboy Posted August 25, 2009 Report Posted August 25, 2009 The regular old postal service works just fine. Much better rates. They have insurance options. I always choose postal service over any other service. Quote

Sgt Steve Posted August 26, 2009 Report Posted August 26, 2009 The regular old postal service works just fine. Much better rates. They have insurance options. I always choose postal service over any other service. Yes Can-Post is not too bad, and U.S.P.S is about the same, but I do find the US post more helpfull then Can Post. And YES I have lost stuff, and money!, with Can Post. I say if it need's to be there fast, UPS is the best for fast, I send anything from Can to US I'll use them first, But Can Post if just in Canada. Quote
