AP & FX ABS question

Hey guys i currently have FX armor and a MRCE bucket. a friend of mine wants to buy my bucket since i told him i'll be buying an AP helm in the near future.

 

The MR on photos show a "whiter" color than the rest of the FX armor and i was just wondering whether the AP bucket has a closer color to the FX suit..

 

anyone out there with the AP helm FX armor set-up?

Terrell aka SuperTrooper has an AP helmet and FX Armor IIRC.

I used an AP helmet with my FX without any problem. This was a few years ago, but I'd think it's not changed much and the closest match you can get for your FX.

How does the AP compare to the MRCE in terms of fit? is the MR bigger than the AP? if so, how much you reckon?

 

when i wear my MR i can still insert my head without twisting the helm, so i guess my noggin can fit an AP? One thing on my MR though, when i wear it my eyelashes seem to graze my eye lenses.. kinda gets irritating after a while.. anyone with the same problem?

IIRC, the MRCE is somewhat larger than the AP. In terms of size I think the AP is pretty much the smallest out there. You'll have to twist it onto your head, but that just makes it more accurate. I wear glasses and can get it on and off with little difficulty. It's a great helmet and has stood up to the rigors of trooping quite well.
