th1973 Posted March 6 Report Posted March 6 Has anyone ever tried taking a piece of scrap ABS to their local Home Depot and had them color match it and make a quart of touch up paint that would match their armor? I would imagine a gloss paint would be the preferred style. These are the kinds of thoughts that keep me up at night.... Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted March 7 Report Posted March 7 Some have done this over the years, Anovos helmet was scanned and a colour code was created by an automotive supplier. I had to match some U trim and used water based acrylics, had them on hand, and was easy to eye match the color, once I was happy with the color I locked it with a gloss clear coat. Like any painted pieces you have to take care, anything I have painted I make fabric pouches so the pieces don't touch in transit. Quote
