I'm currently building my second suit. My first suit was either stolen or sold by my now ex-wife.

I can't remember if my previous suit had the elastic attached to the bottom of the chestplate or if it was between the shoulder bridge and the chest plate and then attached to the back plate from underneath... I remember that I took a thin piece of elastic strap and made a loop that went around the shoulder bridge and the elastic... I've been looking to verify, but can't find it... The connecting elastic is 1 inch, correct?

Yes. This all looks pretty much like the same material that I do have in the way that I set up my last suit. My question however is about the white elastic connecting the chest plate to the back plate under the shoulder bridge.

I remember that my last suit wiz connected with the elastic from the back plate to the chest plate and then it somehow doubled back again... And I'm thinking that somehow I had the elastic that doubled back connected to the plastic shoulder bridge. I realized that the elastic and the plastic shoulder bridge or connected by a small thin white rubber band or piece of elastic...

Earlier this week, I found a picture of my last suit where I had this connection however it's not enough detail to really see exactly how it's connected...

I've been taking some time this week to try connecting these with mixed results. I'm going to try it again and hopefully get it right this time...

I'm not sure that I'm even making any sense in my wording...
