Thigh pieces

so the last piece of my armour left to glue are the thigh pieces. I've trimmed them to fit snuggly round my thighs and am coming to glue them. Before I do I wanted to ask, if the front seams are supposed to be at the front of my leg, or off to the side nearer my hip. I've seen both versions, but which is the correct method before I attach the ammo boxes?

The strip should run up the front of your thigh. When you see thigh pieces rotated out it means that they need to move their strap point or add a strap to keep them in place.
