Round two this is the second kit that Jerry purchased from Russell, Jerry has decided he would like to add a Sandtrooper to his arsenal.

Let the trimming begin

Sand off all the rough edges

Same as the last build we will need to add some shims to the kidney

First the backing plate

Apply the JB weld and clamp and magnet in place

Day 2

 

Added rear cover strips as well as calve Velcro

Shims are dry, cut a V into the join so the abs paste has more to grip too

Belt made, snaps attached to belt, plastic section and ab. Incidentally while trying to fit the plastic belt section, I found out that ATA TD plastic belts are a different size to standard TK belts or they where way back in 2011, will have to contact ATA to see if that has been changed.

Strapping attached, test fitted and nothing to adjust.

 

Completely forgot to take photos of the finished kit.

Armor now in Jerry's hands to continue with weathering.
